Its definitely better than I thought’d be. Good fun.

On an Express Elevator to Hell!!

I have just finished this game and I will say, with the possible exception of Alien Isolation, this is probably the best movie tie-in I have played.

Most importantly it is just so much fun! The loud footfalls of RoboCop, the fact that you aren't hiding behind terrain all the time (and your gun is horrendously violent when you're shooting perps!) and they have even managed to capture the right level of dark humour and satire - it feels like you are playing through the movie.
I loved that they got Peter Weller to do the voiceover as well, and he (and the script writers) have done a sterling job.
I loved the 'RPG lite' bits too (some parts are quite sad and thought provoking as Robocop is remembering his last life, other parts are just funny)

My only criticism would be at times the graphics fray a bit and there is some slowdown (on the PS), but generally it looks and sounds lovely.

I see there are some good sales on the game now, I would say unreservedly to pick it up if you are a fan of the first two films and of FPS games.
