Since the Kratos is added to the setting after these rules were made and the model is now available to print, and available to buy in plastic, I am looking for rules.

Has any body done EA30K rules for them?

I am thinking a Support choice with Spartan survivability (DC(2), Reinforced Armour, 4+). Probably 100 something points as the Spartan is 125 w Quad lascannons & Transport capability. Depending a bit on Main weapon stats.

Kratos Heavy Tank squadron - Support Detachment (2 Vehicles) - 200pts

Kratos - Reinforced Armour, Thick Rear Armour, Damage Capacity(2), Type WE, Speed 25cm, Armor 4+, CC 6+, FF 5+
Weapons:
Kratos Battlecannon 45cm, 2x AP(3+), AT(3+), Armourbane
OR
Melta Cannon, 30cm, 4X MW(5+), Armourbane

Co-ax Autocannon, 45cm, AP (5+), AT(6+)

2x Hull Heavy Bolters, 30cm, AP(5+), Fw Arc
OR
2x Hull Lascannon, 45cm, AT(5+), Fw Arc

2x Sponson Heavy Bolters, 30cm, AP(5+)
OR
2x Sponson Lascannons, 45cm, AT(5+)

Options: Add up to 2 Kratos at +100points each

Designers Note - Durability stats is based off Spartan as these have the same durability in HH2.0 and both have a Flare Shield. Main weapon stats based on HH2.0 differences vs Vanquisher/Battle Cannon & Multi-Melta respectively. The Kratos battle Cannon can fire better Armour piercing ammo than a Battle Cannon as well as an AP HE round which wounds more models than a normal BC, hence AP(3+). The Melta cannon has 4x the RoF of a MM in HH2.0 and longer range. So I based the rules off the MM but gave it 4 shots and longer range. I also added the Ab rule as I personally find MW to be underwhelming as most Armoured targets have Reinforced Armour which negates MW and I feel the Melta cannon should be pretty good at penetrating heavy Armour (but not a Titan Killer). In our games of Epic30k I am always a bit dissapointed when a Multimelta hits a Land Raider and it gets it's normal save and re-roll instead of being reduced to molten slag, which feels a bit un-thematic. So I improved it slightly by giving it Ab too so those saves are reduced by 1.

Westiebestie - unfortunately I havent played EA for a while. I'm focussing on Legions until our event is complete in March (I struggle to remember one ruleset at a time and playing two Epic versions will make my head explode). We are planning to give some of the Legions guys a go against alien armies though and some will want to use Kratos, so will try and give these a spin then.
Having a Spartan equivalent does make sense to me though and I also like your reasoning on melta weapons - so without checking balance I think this reads like it would probably play fairly.

Same boat here btw, focussing on LI but might switch back to EA30k on a while and get a back to back feel. Not for the Kratos I mean but of the ruleset differences.
