Interesting it seems to be going for an Archer-esque style where the time period is a little up in the air. A lot of social media stuff which I'm sure they will riff to death, but all the cars and that are all very 80s Vice style.
Well, it's set in Vice City, so that's probably the aesthetic they're going with, but it's modern day so they can have smart phones and modern vehicles. I mean there are older vehicles in GTAV, and that didn't stop it from being "modern" or make it intentionally anachronistic like Archer.
I just hope that there's more than one playable protagonist. Switching between the three in the last game was loads of fun.

"You listen to me. While I will admit to a certain cynicism, the fact is that I am a naysayer and hatchetman in the fight against violence. I pride myself in taking a punch and I'll gladly take another because I choose to live my life in the company of Gandhi and King. My concerns are global. I reject absolutely revenge, aggression, and retaliation. The foundation of such a method... is love. I love you Sheriff Truman." - Twin Peaks
I'm hoping they do more for the story this time around, one thing I missed about GTA 5 that they did a lot better in GTA 4 was having the DLC stories that interwove with the main narrative and give you more access to fun things that weren't available in the main game. I feel its unlikely given the emphasis on GTA online but we'll see.
Main thing I want is a variety of Rock stations for the Radio.
GTA V and San Andreas were good for that. GT IV was terrible. What felt like infinite hip-hop style stations (a genre I’ve never really enjoyed) and one rock station which wasn’t very good.

Looks good to me. I haven't actually played much single player GTA since GTA 3. Having some fun in Vice City sounds good to me. Then again, a '25 release means I could play through all the other ones in the meantime if I wanted...

I'm not thrilled by GTA 5's rock and metal selection, to be honest. And that's before we get into all the waffling between or during songs...
Maybe the next game should let you make your own playlist from all the licensed tracks in the game. GTA Online got a very cut down version of that a year or two ago, I think. And I say I think because as I recall it's only select songs and only rapping or hipping or hopping. That doesn't do me any good.
Nehekhara lives! Sort of!
Why is the rum always gone?
I'm not knocking it, but I don't see how the graphics are exceptional. It doesn't look strikingly superior to CP2077 or BG3. Maybe I'm missing something.
The gameplay clips from that Star Wars RPG by Activision look better tbh.
