Presumably this is based on the data gained from Ukraine's epic fightback against tsarist commie-LARPers.

If one of those hits a landmine it wont throw the only track on one side.
So it should be able to pull back without needing an ARV or at least be able to get out of the way of the rest of the column.

To be fair, I doubt that there will be much left of this if it triggers an anti-tank mine but the idea sounds sensible.

Also as this is intended for the paratroopers: like the Wiesel it might not be a tank but it is a big improvement for airdropped infantry

Edit: after I read about it: good that they thought a step ahead this time and installed a weapon with the same calliber as the F35 that were recently ordered. That way the 25mm ammo can be used by different vehicles
