Can I use this guy as a Tech Priest Manipulus or Dominus?

I dislike the standard models, and I'd like to wedge some orange flavour (Ryza) into my AdMech Knight list.

It might be a GW store... all the other local shops are either card games 24/7 or strange hipster Game/candle shops.

To be fair when a person doesn't play an army they are often only casually aware of most heroes/models in other armies. Admech have a good few models in the commander role that are fairly similar in their design style and footprint (base size) that you could certainly use them as "counts as" for other options. Heck even more optoins if you pinch some from 30K Mechanicum as well.

In general the key is that your opponent can tell which unit is which clearly and easily. You could always add some more details to the model to help them stand out.

I've never built an AdMech force, but the fat guy, really doesn't scream Ryza to me. I was hoping that I could use someone else and build my own.

I want to build my own Fabricator-General Kallidus Thane, from the War of the Beast, which features Legio Crucius, House Sidus and the Mechanicus.

I thought it would be fun to use the same Forgeworld for my Adeptus Titanicus forces and my full scale 30k/40k armies.

But since I know very little about the different models in the Adeptus Mechanicus, I'm kinda flying blind.
