I can't find any specific rules, but I can find a Mk III techmarine and a Mk IV techmarine model.

Is there a rules difference?

I'm becoming used to the one model = one rule of 10th edition 40k.

For power armor there are no stat difference in armor marks. Go with what looks best to you.

Terminator armor does have different stats though so keep that in mind for any termie characters.

The Forge Lord as well is different. He has a machinator array rather then just the servo arm of the standard techmarine. There's not a 30k specific model for him yet though.

I'm noticing that a lot, I was trying to help one if my friends who is just starting out find a grey knight techmarine. It took me a bit to discover there is no model for that guy either. The Primaris Techmarine is too big, so now I'm looking at finecast techmarines to try and help him make one.

Yeah the old 4th edition masters of the forge are your best bet there. Alternatively, if your friend doesn't mind 3rd party pieces, both Anvil Industries and Kromlech do servo harnesses that fit right onto GW marines.

Nice, I totally forgot about those models.

I'll check into that. I've also been looking for a servo harness for my Skitarii Marshall, as I'm going to convert him into a Tech Priest Dominus/Manipulus as I dislike those models.

Hopefully, I can find something for the both of us.

I've been looking at doing a forge lord to run some thallax, Would the old metal techmarines be suitable for this? Their armour is its own pattern and they have the multi armed array. I can't see anything on them that looks out of place for Heresy.

it's the quiet ones you have to look out for. Their the ones that change the world, the loud ones just take the credit for it.

Master of the Forge? I think he'd do fine. He's the same scale too.

The finecast Techmarine with Servitors was used in rule page art back in HH1.

Can't link the actual image cos its the 40k Wiki (ew) but the link to the page will show it front and centre:
https://www.google.com/search?https://warhammer40k.fandom.com/wiki/Legion_Techmarine_Covenant

I used one myself for one of my Techmarines and cannibalised some of the Servoarms to make a full Covenant for my Iron Warriors.

Cool, so just give him a normal legion colour scheme (maybe red shoulders / helmet) More Robots here I come.
