Figured this might be an informative thread, as we don’t tend to see resin Heresy kits in their constituent bitz.

I’ll kick us off with the Arcutior Magisterium.

This is a pretty dainty little kit. And has way more bits than I was expecting. Of particular cause for precise care is the need to shim out the grab slice claw things. I’ll be using a fresh blade in my hobby knife for that job, I’ll tell you that for nowt.

But, on the upside? Whilst my pics don’t exactly do it justice, there looks to be comfortable plug and socket joints, which will aid in assembly.

Crab claws looks painfull to clean, but the sockets are indeed a great addition.

Yeah. I think I’ll want to get the parts warm before shimming them out. Should make it a bit easier.

I didn’t bother with that, instead just using a fresh blade, and poking, rather than slicing, my way. And it worked out pretty well. Photo is super zoomed in, so whilst yes I’ve missed the odd bit? They don’t show to the naked eye. Also, despite being dinky they’re not as fragile as I first thought. Still wouldn’t go lobbing it around like.

Need to nip out and get some cheapo toothbrushes before assembly though.

Nice detail. I do wish FW wouldn’t do these resin models in quite so many pieces.

I’m thinking of getting the Space Woof character. And maybe a Herald.

Ouch. I had no idea it was so intricate to work on those models.

It’s genuinely not as fiddly as it looks, and I’ll freely admit to having been dreading it.

Still haven’t been out to get a toothbrush though.
