I've wanted to give my kids the experience of what it's like to go camping, so I'm considering some kind of trailer option. I'm a bit hung up on what direction to go though.
This won't be "serious" camping. No backpacking an hour into the wilderness with a tent. More like simple campgrounds with spaces for a caravan for a long weekend.
I'm just a little torn on which way to go with it. I have a 2021 Chevy Colorado Z71 (V6) so pulling a modest trailer isn't an issue. But then I look at truck bed campers, and I see benefits both directions. Either way I'd prefer a full fiberglass shell, no pull-out, and air conditioning. No pop ups either.
