Glorious!

I think the only thing I'd also love to see would be a few more bits office/barracks/dorm style.

Whilst these pieces would shine in a high end apartment or management's office/executive bathroom, I think it'd be nice to be able to contrast this with a few ranks of scribes' stiff uncomfortable data-pews for an Overseer to oversee from their luxurious office.

No need for separate desks when any latrine trips are prescheduled ahead of time by row.

So perhaps something like a church pew, seating three abreast. First station is reading information coming in on a datascreen, second station is transcribing it to a vellum scroll for long term storage and the third station is auditing what the second has written on a second copy being created via autoquill.

You know, classic government data entry stuff.

Then a roman latrine style loo sitting three abreast for when those guys get to go on break, and perhaps a triple bunk to go in their cell when they go back to rest.
Could probably carry on the set of things for three poor scribes, with a wardrobe/lockers for three (perhaps with a little shrine and kneeler cushion built into it since it's their one bit of personal space), showers, soup/recaff dispensers etc.

Some bunks would definitely be a worthy addition.

A shower cubicle would also be handy.

Thanks for all the thumbs up guys.

And thanks for the extra ideas - I want to add at least one new sculpt every day for the rest of the campaign, so some of the ideas here are perfect. 😊

Campaign Update: Posh Chair!

Hi Backers & Watchers,

Today's Update adds a Grimdark Posh Chair to the STL set. Very smart.

Have you got any Grimdark scenery ideas that you'd like to see added to the Campaign?

Suggest away!

Ben @ TMG

I do wish campaigns like this would offer printed models. Is there a good third party that can handle printing something like this that campaigns could partner with?

I hear you but it adds a whole level of complexity, printing and shipping. They'd need one for each major market, might be better to find a place near you that can do the work.

Hrm. I like the barracks idea, bunk beds, foot lockers, and the like. Gun racks, helmets and other storage?

Shower stalls, with skull shaped shower heads of course.

Some small family/office shrines of saints and perhaps a cyber lich on a gilded throne?

A big 50s style TV with a tiny round screen the whole family can crowd around to watch black and white propaganda shows? A big wall screen for Big Brother to look down on everyone?

Ruined variants of some of the furniture? Broken and shattered by war?

Manikins for a store modelling this millennium's hottest fashions?

Specifically one that could be painted blue, for those remedial orbital strategy students.

Perhaps also a pneumatic tube system for sending scrolls off to management (or accounts payable) for blessing before being sent out.
Big station-style flicky sign which shows which stops transports will be making, and whether they are cancelled, delayed or on time.

I have hundreds of dollars of STL files from Patreons and the Mantic Vault. Tried to get some arms and heads printed and all the quotes I got back were very overpriced.

There's a lot of people who want to offer themselves as 3d printing services but also want you to pay for their printer on your first order it seems.

Until I can get things printed locally and professionally like I can with 2d documents, I think 3d printing will remain elusive/hobbyist.

Campaign Update : Pet Grimcat!

Hi Backers and Watchers!

We're well on our way now, thanks so much to everyone who's already contributed to the Campaign.

Today's extra STL file is a Pet GrimCat. Or a Grim PetCat. Or a Cat GrimPet. Not sure about that, you decide. Maybe just call him Cyberfloof.
"Meow/Beep"

We'll continue to add new sculpts to the Kickstarter every day until the Campaign ends, so keep those ideas coming - we've had loads of fantastic suggestions and requests via various avenues, and we'll definitely be drawing on those as we move forwards.

For now, thanks for your support and interest.

Ben @ TMG

For the record a lot of those extra ideas have come from here on Dakka - expect to see them cropping up regularly!

We often have for previous campaigns, and will do again in the future - sorry we don't have time for doing prints-to-order on this particular Kickstarter, but we may well start peppering our webstore with various printed sets as we roll along with the year.
