I've been looking for YEARS for a good basecoat or primer that is bright orange. I want to do some marines that you can see miles away. While I've found paint like this, it is all high-gloss, which makes it hard to add more paint on top of it.


So, does anyone know of any spray paint cans out there that are flat? Ideally specifically for miniatures, with a matching orange paint pot for brushing.

Convict Orange, the equivalent of Troll Slayer Orange, available in the US from The Colour Forge (via Monument Hobbies in Phoenix AZ) or the Michigan Toy Soldier Co. (just outside of Detroit MI). Here's Stahly's review of the sprays.

Its acrylics based, not laquer based though..
