How do!
Building up to a house move, and bought some plastic storage tubs for my larger models.
And I think I want to use one as a more permanent carry case, particularly for my Chaos Knights. And so, magnetising the underside of the bases and the floor of the tub seems a sensible option. Keeps everyone upright unless I or someone else is really trying.
Can anyone offer some links to sellers of such sheeting in the UK?

I get all my bits from Amazon, in the USA, not sure if UK Amazon has different stuff.
You can get flexible magnetic sheets in assorted sizes. Easy to use, can be cut to size, you can get them with adhesive backs. Less “grip” then steel sheets.
You can also get steel sheets. Better grip, but harder to resize.
I started with the magnetic sheets, didn’t like the grip. Switched to sheet metal I had to cut with tin snips. The. Discoved the pre-cut steel sheets. Right now my boxes are flexible magnetic sheets stuck to the case, with a steel sheet on top of that.

Yup. That’s the sort of magnetic sheets.
For the magnets under the minis I use 2x5mm rare earth magnets, and greenstuff. IIRC the depth of the rim on GW bases is like 2.2mm, so if you just glue mags to the base there will be a gap. For best grip you want to get them as close as you can. So a little ball of GS to act like a gap filler. While the GS will stick to the base, you are going to want to reinfoce them, or put some superglue down before the GS/mag.

Not sure how strong they are. There is a pretty big gap between rare earth magnets and the black ruberized ones.

Says they’ll hold around 60g each.
Given I’d be applying multiple to a single base, and a Chaos Knight weighs a smidge under 200g, I think they should do the job.

If they are not thick enough you may need spacers to get them flush to the table, so the adhesive might be redundant

2.3mm it seems.
Have ordered some sheets and a pack of the dots. Will see how it goes. I do other arts and crafts stuff, so will always be able to find a use for them.

I've started buying my bases and magnets from Cobalt Keep - very high quality magnets.

For the cases I use the iron sheets from Crystal Fortress. I like the grip and self adhesive on the sheets.

Both are a little pricy but so are the miniatures I'm securing.
