Hello

Decided to start getting into AoS, specifically the Spearhead game as a start.

Had a look at the models and the Nighthaunt really just look so awesome with the ghost/spirit look.

Also, the place I shop had a special with regards to the Spearhead boxes, so I bought both boxes for Nighthaunt.

I will first complete the latest one before painting the other one.

The plan is also to expand later on to play 2k points of AoS with them.

Had some custom base toppers printed and started with that first. Using oil paint as the main medium with acrylics as the highlights and for small parts.

I did painted a test model from the other Nighthaunt box, to get an idea of what I wanted to do, and to try and test bases etc.

Ignore the "bits" on the model, I didn't wait for the spray can to heat up properly, and sprayed on some spray-paint "sand".

I wanted to go with a different colour scheme than the standard teal/turquoise of GW, and therefore decided to go with a more main magenta/purple scheme.





I started with the Harridans to put the main oil colours on them:


And blended them together. Will give it time to dry and then layer blend the next colours on the model.
