I've been surprised not to see one of these (especially having spent ages browsing through the similar AoS, LotR, BFG and LImp threads) so I thought I'd create one so I can see everyone's amazing Old World work and ask for pity on my poor efforts

I'll kick things off with my first units for my Tzeentch-themed Warriors of Chaos army - a Champion, Sorcerer, Warriors and Warhounds.

Still working on the rest of the box of hounds but hope to have them finished soon and then I might take a break from core stuff to tackle some Dragon Ogres

I am attempting to flesh out estalia and Tilea, with the concept of holy leagues, because quite frankly the region without such cooperation would make no sense at all.

Wargames atlantic rennaissance cav. Great kit, great detail, you get a metric shitton of them, they fit the elmetto / Caballero esthethique whilest wearing italian type plate therefore like wealthy or sponsored nobles befitting of trade and merc republics.

The musketeers some of the pikes are 30 years war Pike and shotte, which for the age of the kit it just outperform state troops.

Also i like the hats and the era of knights with pistols and pikes is one other reason for this army, well that and having a shooting phase ontop of it all.

Chimera Calvin: Love your colour scheme for the Chaos Warriors, haven't seen anything like that before. Really makes them look different. That fella with the halberd is a lovely miniature.

Not Online: Tilea/Estalia becomes so tempting when I look at those lovely Wargames Atlantic kits. Makes me want to recreate the scenes in the 5e Lizardman book, make it a whole campaign.

I've plunged back into the Warhammer world recently and assembled a large High Elf army from North Star and GW figures. Currently doing a Wood Elf army as well. I'll be using those Warlord Landsknechts later in the year for some Empire.

I'll snap some shots if I get a chance and throw them up, though they're nothing particularly special - I just really prefer the North Star elves for basic infantry because they're much more restrained and "noldor" looking than GW's High Elves.

They look so much better on 30mm bases...love the color scheme and your chaos lord looks super intimidating. I would not want to fight him in hand to hand combat!
