It's not that easy to see, but I made small cuts in the Leman Russ hull (A, around the red arrow) to remove the small stripe of horizontal armor beside the angeled top. This was made after I realized that the Taurox sidepanels with the doors (B) have almost the same angle at the top and can easily be fixed there. I also cut away the lowermost, angled part of said doors (3rd picture), so that it fit perfectly to the chimera floor. At the top I filed the side pannels so that they take up the angles of the LR structure, so that it looks more natural. |
