That turret looks interesting. Did you modify a "normal" Baneblade turret or what did you use as base? Also interesting little weapons station directly under the forward bolter turret. And the Sponsons (Blood and Skulls?) Also look really good |

Yeah it's a normal, if butchered regular baneblade turret under that, the guy I brought it off on Ebay was going to convert it and had flattened the roof off and glued foam board to it. I tore that off and glued card on to make a rough frame then several layers of miliput to make the shape, then sanded it back. The hull heavy bolter turret has rubbish arc of fire, so I looked at what is traditionally a traversing smoke discharging array and put a puppets war targeter anvil grenade launcher there, they can cover much of the frontal and side arcs. Blood and skulls sponsons. The hull has been extended and the top hull plate has a centralised turret ring, which were vital to the turret extension, which itself was vital to house the massive cannon I had. |

It actually is sensibly justifiable too. I was looking at the mighty pile of guns i call the baneblade and i thought it has a coaxle auto cannon but no turret mounted machinegun that can be fired with the crew buttoned up. I knew that Iserali tanks mount a heavy MG on the roof above the main gun that is zeroed to hit the same place as it, effectively being a coaxle but withouth the 2nd hole in the front of the turret. So yeah its got a little M2 browning heavy stubber mounted to the mantle top. |
