I scratch converted this Chaos Stormlord the summer that Apocalypse Reload was released. Painting will finally begin shortly. Since this photo was taken I have made some slight modifications to the hull mounted weapon and the small top turret. The hull mounted weapon is now a twin-linked heavy bolter and the small top turret which represents a pintle mounted heavy stubber has twin stubbers on it for a twin .50-caliber machine gun look. The top turret rotates and elevates and the the Vulcan Mega Bolter also can change elevation. This model, which is based on a Baneblade chassis, has extensive modifications made to it, including access doors on the sides and rear to simulate the idea that it is largely a transport vehicle. |
