Time was running on and we worked out that this would be the last turn. So, this resulted in us going hell for leather for objectives with our remaining deep strikers, (disputedly) winning us the game!
The Valkyrie, filled with a melta gun veteran squad striked down beside one objective, Blood Angels took a second and my Strongholds still defended a third, giving us a count for this turn of 3 objectives, to 1 of theirs, with 1 further contested and 1 unclaimed. This gives us a grand total of 6 Victory Points to 3.
As for the dispute, it is claimed that since it wasn't a 'full' game (is there such a thing as a 'full' apocalypse game? - rulebook says, play until the time limit and have both sides be equal turns.) it should be a draw. - Our side, of course, disagree and toast our Victory! |
