Going by lore-based power levels, a 40k space marine would beat a terran marine in one-on-one easy. That being said, terran marines are cheaper to make, and they all still have rapid-fire depleated uranium-spike shooting railguns as their basic weapon, and other Terran support units are noting to laugh at. |

Terran marines would win, as much as spesh marinse are bad ass. they're like an highly advanced IG army.. let alone their from the year 2500 i believe.. while space marines are 37.5 thousand years later and still havent advanced much more |

Terran Marines are the sweet spot where you have the numbers and expendability of guard, yes even penal legions, the ability to function in all environments without restriction like spacemarines, and enough forepower to breach heavy armour. While having the peronality(and teeth) of someone who'd nestle their beers in with a cold fusion nuke. |
