Here you can see the tail boom supports that were made when the pieces were cut away from the engines to accomodate the conversion kit from Chapterhouse. I carefully cut them away, then put a slight taper on them with a sanding stick. They were butted up against the rear bulkhead just under the top resin piece, which extended the line nicely from the recesses at that trail from the cockpit. I also had to add about a 10 ounces of weight to the front of the kit to offset the heavy tail so that it would sit right on the stand. |
