Image Description:
Mark Edephon was a rather reluctant space marine recruit. His penchance for his own style of combat hindered his indoctrination into the Ultramarines to the point that he spent many years longer than his brother-marines as a scout. Eventually due to his own, borderline heretical attachment of a chainsword onto his bolter he was able to kill a small ork mob single-handedly in the defense of Black Reach. During that battle he was wounded no less than 12 times, managing to get himself back into the fight numerous times. This apparant immunity to death earned him the name "Pheonix" |
