The Aquila Sector, situated within the Ultima Segmentum, is named after the Aquila Warp Storm. The Warp Storm is oddly stable, and allows very fast travel from one side to the other. This stable, safe and extremely fast method of transport has allowed the Aquila Sector to thrive, especially with trade and mining. It is also a naturally easy sector to defend, with reinforcements never too far away despite the great distances involved. It has been the setting for virtually all our games since 2004. |
