Unit Photos
Logan Grimnar model, is my stand in for the wolf priest (i really like healing potions and balms)
the base is still a WIP
Another angle of the Logan Grimnar Model

Current Stand-in Wolf Lord, still working on my old ragnar blackmane model
A pic of the custom stormshields ive been making from chaos warrior shields and droppod space puppies emblems

Venerable Dreadnought, this model was actually chewed up by a dog before i had an opprotunity to paint it, so it had to be repaired with salvaged parts and greenstuff. also, the eldar falcon grav tank turrent on the base of this model was chewed by the same dog

Why I Started This Army
I started playing WH40k back in 97, and my first step into the hobby involved a few models from different armies, Eldar, Space Marines, Space Wolves, and Orks. After playing a few games, painting a few models and generally getting a feel for the hobby I decided on Space Wolves.
If you look closely, you can see some 2nd edition starter set marines in front of the LRC in the image above.
I quit playing the game around the turn of the millenium, as I was not satisfied with the 3rd edition rules - they felt like a step backwards for the game.
About 2 years later I started to play again with some friends who all wanted to keep using 2nd edition rules, so I kept building models, but we weren't that devoted to the game.
Some time later I started playing fantasy, which I admittedly like a lot more. My FLGS had plenty of fantasy players, so life was good (or unlife rather, as I was playing Vampire Counts)
Then I moved, and my new FLGS plays 40k almost exclusively, so I decided to go in on AoBR set, and delve back into my old trusted Space Wolves.
