Scyths is a planet located in Scyths System in Illustris Sector in Segmentum Tempestus. It is known of training special regiments known as Jagers.

Scyths System

Scyths System includes two gas giants known as Shat I and Shat II. Scyths is only planet in that system. Ros, the sun of the system, is young sun and spreads only little radiation to system and to nearest planet, Scyths.

Scyths

Planet Scyths is mostly covered by jungle so it is counted to be as a jungle planet. It also got some high mountains and rough deserts that are barely inhabited by some wild creatures. Scythians have very ascetic way of life. They have very strict habits as servants of the God Emperor and are known as people of disciple and honour. Unlike Catachan, Scyths doens't have such a rude and rough enviroment with terrible and dangerous creatures and plants. Beside that it have uncountable training camps and it is rumored that Scyths contains one of Imperium's Schola Progenium within some harsh place. Scyths has one moon called Nea.

Regiments

Scythsian Regiments are all self-reliant regiments which all contain one maintenance-battallion and two other battallions. Unlike regiments of other worlds, regiments of Scyths can survive in warzone by themselves without another regiments or invidual maintenance. Therefore Scythsian regiments are not treated as "Light-Infantry Regiment" or "Mechanised Regiment" as they do contain differend kind of battallions which include, fe, "Siege Battallion" and "Artillery Battallion". These special regiments are known as Jager regiments and are among the finest of Imperium.

Organization of Regiments

Scythsian Jagers are mostly used as a support role in some place where skills and men are highly neede. Therefore you can bump into Jager Regiments in the worst warzones of Imperium like Catachan, T'Ros and Armageddon. Because Jager Regiments consist of couple of differend kind of battallions you easily could think that there are like drop troops and super heavy tanks in same regiment. Anyway this is not the case. Jager regiments are carefully gathered of differend battallions that work with each other as well as possible. Propably most common Jager Regiment contains:

1. Maintenance-battallion (Mainstay)
2. Infantry-battallion
3. Infantry-battallion
4. Heavy Infantry-battallion

Mechanised battallions aren't so common in Jager Regiments due they are specialised in guerilla warfare and infiltration. Most common leader of Jager Regiments are Lord Comissar eventhough they are never going to war only by themselves but as accompany for some other Imperial force.
