Title Of this Story

Strike of the Children

It was raining hard as the droplets smashed off the dusty ground leaving small craters. Water bounced off Sahuiz’s armour and ran down its pink surface dulled with the dust, though it still stood out among the rubble he lay hidden in. It had been a long night, cold and total cloud cover to offer little natural light; it had started raining a few hours earlier and which minimized spotting distance, though this wouldn't be a problem for Sahuiz.

He scanned the target ahead, a large recently constructed complex in a dull colour which easily blended in with the dark night. Its exterior surface was blotted with various pipes of all sizes and various cables; the only identification which gave it away was a large leering skull with a cog behind it, the symbol of the Adeptus Mechanicus. It was no doubt in Sahuiz’s mind that whatever his Lord required the Mechanicus had already located and was possibly in a position to extract it. The building itself had been built around the site what the Lord desired.

Sahuiz heard the sound of rubble being moved around; someone or something was also inside the ruin where he was positioned. He quickly withdrew his bolt pistol and spun around on his side with lightning reflexes as he lay down buried amongst the damaged building work. In a dull dry corner knelt down beneath some fallen rafters was another of the Lord’s champions, Zsasz. Zsasz’s bright pink coloured armour was dulled from the dust from crawling through the battered ruined building; he stood up to full height revealing himself a little more. His armour was pink mostly, with stretches of cut skin wrapped around his armour like a patchwork, the skin was that belonging to his victims and was mostly undamaged as if it had been preserved some how and had leather like look. Unlike the rest of his armour, his left leg was all black and on his chest was a powerful symbol which looked like a circle with a straight piece leading to a semi circle with another semi circle through it, the symbol of the chaos god Slaanesh, the Prince of Pleasure. Like Sahuiz his left chunky shoulder guard displayed the symbol of the Emperors Children, a pair of wings going into a claw. His right shoulder bore the sign of chaos, a jagged eight pointed star which looked a-miss on Zsasz’s exotic armour, the symbol itself had been carved into the armour.

“What do you require Zsasz?” whispered Sahuiz quietly in a seductive voice.

“Sorcerer Kabal requests you report back with your finds, our Lord wishes us to move in”

Zsasz stood waiting for Sahuiz as exotic scents and perfumes expelled from his body.

“The Lord doesn’t wish to be kept waiting Sahuiz” reminded Zsasz.

Sahuiz nodded and followed Zsasz back through the labyrinth of dusty ruins back to their hold.

“This should be entertaining Zsasz” commented Sahuiz in a soft tone.

A flash of bright blue light lit up the inside of the room as it sped out the door way, Sahuiz guessed that Sorcerer Kabal was interrogating one of the prisoners. He entered the room and undone the clasps on his helmet, a slight hissing sound coming from them as he removed his helmet and taking in the rich sweet scent of the room. The room itself was dull with little lighting, though he could easily make out three figures in bright pink armour with his enhanced eye sight, each one of them proudly displayed the legion symbol of the Emperors Children and some wore on their armour the symbol of Slaanesh was shown. Before him the Sorcerer’s true form was cast into a light, a monstrous half serpent creature with skin smooth as silk, the lower body was serpentine form with six pairs of full breasts with large pierced nipples, each connected together with gold chain. The upper part of Kabal’s body was human form and clad in Astartes power armour, though parts of his armour and blended with his silky skin of his lower form. Held out stretched by the throat in his right arm was a helpless servant on the Carrion Lord, a lone Imperial Guardsmen. Kabal blasted him with lightening bolts from his finger tips on his left hand, the smell of burnt skin filling the air and enriching all the senses of those in the room.. The towering Sorcerer monster twisted around and spotted Sahuiz.

“Ah Sahuiz, the Lord wishes us to progress, what is there to report?” whispered Kabal in an almost feminine seductive voice as a snake like tongue forked out of his mouth.

Kabals facial features were like that had been carved by angels, a beautiful handsome face with long white as snow hair split into several long locks entwined with jewels. His lower part of his body couldn’t be any different if it could be, though the will of Slaanesh was fickle and gifts from the Dark Prince were always grateful received.

“The position is heavily defended; it appears the Mechanicus is expecting trouble”

The light spilled from Kabal’s crackling hand which lightening wrapped around, Sahuizs flawless beautiful face displayed in the light as his long blonde hair spilled downwards. While others had been gifted with powerful mutation gifts, Sahuiz had been gifted with beauty to the beholder, yet to himself he only saw a rotting festering corpse as his reflection.

“What defences do they have Sahuiz?”

“At least thirty Imperial Guard Veterans, several units of Conscripts are also patrolling the perimeter. Several quad cannons have also been setup. I have noted two units of Sentinels, scout class each armed with autocannons.”

“You serve our Lord well Sahuiz and your skills and welcomed. What action do you suggest we take?”

Sahuiz recognised the other three pink armoured Marines as Zsasz and two of the Chosen, no doubt one from each lodge. The Chosen were expert warriors, those which fought alongside Fulgrim himself during the war on Terra. They ran riot among the streets of Terra killing all who stood before them and fleeing the planet with hundreds of slaves to torture for years to come. Now the Chosen keep themselves together, operating alone and taking part in the most pleasurable acts to a Noise Marine. Any slaves or plunder found is always theirs for the taking first, slaves taken by them either some how become fully devoted to the Chosen, begging them to do whatever it is they do to them behind closed doors.

“I cannot see the roof top, though I have seen activity up there and I suspect some form of carrier maybe upon top. These will need taking out to stop air support.

Next to where I was positioned was a large structure, it has an excellent view point and we should place troops with heavy weapons here. They can provide an aerial advantage, and if there is any aerial support, can take it down.

The Sentinels have become sloppy and not changed their guard or patrol patterns, we can strike our attack once these are furthest away.

I have also noted tank tracks; I cannot determine what type of tank we could be up against”

The Chosen and Zsasz nodded in agreement.

“I shall take the east side; Sahuiz has informed me that the Conscripts have setup a post there. I will flush them back towards up, bottleneck them and they will retreat through the narrow old road ways. The guard will have my attention, and you can attack from the south” commented Zsasz.

“So be it Zsasz” uttered Kabal. “And as for our prisoner I have learnt that two Leman Russ Punishers are inside the Mechanicus building, I see that you don’t miss a thing Sahuiz and you’re an asset to our Lord”

Sahuiz nodded in approval.

“Hasoor and myself will dispose of any threat on the roof, I and my Chosen brethren will take to the roof of the compound itself, Hasoor will cover all of us with sonic weaponry” barked Kasu.

Kasu had many flayed faces of his victims covering his shoulder guards, the symbol of chaos and the Emperors Children were mostly covered by them and parts of his armour grew organic like studs in various places. Sahuiz also noticed Kasu latest gift from the Dark Prince, a massive barbed claw replacing his left hand, much like those on a Daemonette, one of the Dark Prince’s daemonic servants.

“Aye, I can do that” smiled Hasoor displaying rows of razor teeth.

Kasu paced the large sewer opening ready for the strike; the opening was dark though he could see clearly through his helmet. Dirty water ran beneath them, about a foot deep as the stone walls dripped water and rusting pipes hung. He looked up through the metal grate covering and could smell the sweat from the Carrion Lord’s soldiers with his hyper keen senses above him. He lusted to get hold of them and indulge his senses by ripping them apart. In the mean time he removed a small vial of oil from his webbing, splashing it across his armour. Its scent filled the sewer opening and drowned out the foul stench only a Plague Marine would favour. The other Noise Marines soon inhaled the scent sending them into a battle fury, ready to destroy those who opposed their Lord. Kasu removed his helmet; he wanted to experience battle with his own eyes. Kasu’s face was once beautiful like Sahuiz’s, though over the millennia he has seeked further pleasure and to enhanced his senses. He now bore the symbol of Slaanesh proudly burnt on his forehead; he wore some kind of vented mask attached to his face which had a dark leather studded strap running across the middle of his head. In the centre of the vent was a large like speaker grill, which allowed Kasu’s voice to amplified, a devastating close range weapon. Kasu never wanted to miss a thing, he wanted to see all and a long time ago had his eye lids removed, over the years his eyes warped into blood shot white balls and his eye sockets had widened with pools of blackness.

As Kasu inhaled the scented oil he caught an unusual figure patiently standing on a dry raised area. This character looked totally out of place in this dark sewer more than the Emperors Children in their bright coloured lavish power armour. The figure was Astartes height and wore golden power armour, much like the Corpse Lord’s though the symbole of the Emperors Children was on his chest. He wore no helmet and exposed a beautiful face enough to rival that of the Dark God, long brown flowing locks ran down his back, his face was hardly aged and was probably no more older than eighteen. In one hand he held a rapier blade; in the other a large golden shield matching his power armour in colour on its surface raised the symbol of the Dark Prince. Kasu smiled, Kabal has been truly blessed by Slaanesh and had been given the gift to alter his appearance. Kabal loved nothing more have the enemy underestimate him, then would reveal his true appearance. Kasu looked up towards the metal grill covering, this would be there exit into battle, and surely by know Zsasz would be launching the first wave of attack.

Zsasz was an extremely proud and arrogant warrior, though his skills could not be doubted. He was made a Astartes at the brink of the Hersey and followed his Primarch loyally, though had never even seen Fulgrims features with his own eyes. Over the millennia he became a bitter and twist character, he blamed the Emperor and the loyal legions for not allowing him to see Fulgrim and meet him in person, over the years Zsasz bested his skills in hope to prove worth to Fulgrim and find the daemon primarchs world of pleasure. Like a proud escort Zsasz marched in front of his personal Rhino transport, which carried the rest of his squad, he wanted first strike on these young bloods who believed they had the right to defend mankind from such fierce warriors as the Emperors Children. They were a mocking enemy and would be enslaved without a doubt; he would keep them alive for years until he finds Fulgrim and offer them to the great Primarch.

Zsasz walked with his rapier sword in one hand, it occasionally crackling with blue arcs of power in his other an ornate bolter which had seen many wars. His armour was an assortment of pink, black and gold across his left breast he had a patch of chainmail. Rising over his head from his power plant were various leering daemonic faces, each of their mouths opened widely.

Out of the darkness he spotted the crude barricade the large unit of Conscripts had constructed, he would have to restrain himself not to kill them all. He raised his sword and charged as the Conscripts sergeant spotted him and the Rhino and issued the command to open fire.

“Death to the False Emperor!” he roared as he charged in cracking bodies to pieces with his rapier power sword.

Hansoor stood with five other Emperors Children at the top of the tower, his journey to the top hadn’t been easy as the tower was on verge of collapse, something the favoured Sahuiz had failed to spot. Though it was such a thrill holding a position knowing he could fall any moment and feel the wind against his skin and the sensation of being buried alive.

The other marines readied for attack, each of their helmets had been modified with large eye sockets of blackness, pointed ears and large gaping mouths, the entire better for experiencing the most pleasurable senses.

Hansoor looked to the east; his hyper keen hearing heard the crack of gun fire and the screams of the dying. Zsasz was doing his work.

“Brothers, ready your aim and fire at will on those who follow the blind” ordered Hansoor.

Soon a fleet of retreating Guard Conscripts came running down the street, most of them only young and falling back to the main hold. Zsasz calmly walked behind them, firing his bolter singly handily taking pot shots at those trying to escape. Any hit would fall down into the dust sending a cloud lightly into the air as the bolt round would explode with a shower of red. Zsasz dragged the sergeant of the Conscripts with one hand behind him, his body bloody battered and several limbs missing was still pumping blood, it appeared Zsasz wanted more fun. Zsasz’s squad followed behind him, blasting away with bolter fire mowing down the survivors.

The first high pitched noise separate itself from the bolter fire as daylight does from night as a unit of Veterans taking cover behind a sandbag position with a heavy bolter fell to their knees as the fire power from blastmaster weapons did their work from the roof top. Zsasz looked up and with his keen eye sight picked up Hansoor and gave a brotherly nod in his direction.

The quad cannon positioned behind the Veterans open fired as the Veterans heads exploded into mush through the ear piercing noises or their eyeballs burst in fountains of red. The quad cannon stood a good chance of destroying Zsasz’s Rhino transport, the tank could provide vital cover and armed with a havoc launcher could provide fire support; it would be asset Zsasz didn’t want to loose.

“Men destroy that quad cannon” ordered Zsasz

Immediately the two Emperors Children armed with meltaguns leapt forward from the formation, they charged forward as a hiss in the air sounded off as they blasted the quad cannon to pieces in molten lumps with their ultimate destruction weapons.

A heavy metal sound echoed as the bunker doors of the Mechanicus structure opened and spat out a roaring Leman Russ Punisher. Its turret rotated and targeted the marines armed with the meltaguns, the gun began to rotate and burst out a high number of shells drowning out all sounds, including those from the blastmaster weapons on the roof. One Marine was cut to pieces and fell a bloody heap on the floor; the other one took a few hits and went down. At least they had a good experience thought Zsasz as their souls passed into the warp and to be devoured by the Dark Prince.

The rest of the squad quickly took up a new position, they was too far from the Rhino and the way the Punisher was firing on them it would be slim that all of them would make it back inside unscathed, Zsasz couldn’t afford to loose more brothers. The squad quickly dived into cover behind some old broken walls; the high velocity bullets from the Punisher would be unable to penetrate them. Zsasz was alive at least, but pinned down and held position as he listened to music of the Punisher.

“Brother Hansoor, can you take out that Punisher?” requested Zsasz.

“Negative. Its armour is too thick for our weapons. You will have to find another way; I can clear the infantry at least for you.”

The Punisher stopped firing for a few moments, the crew now aware there shells couldn’t penetrate the walls, though at least the Emperors Children couldn’t get close without being shot to ribbons. The quiet lasted for all of two seconds, Zsasz hated it and it felt like a like time it was soon filled with the shrieks of the blastmasters upon the roof once again as they bombarded the remaining Veterans close to the Punisher, eliminating all those still breathing along the east side.

“We are Legion!” roared Kasu as he smashed the metal grill out the way.

His keen hearing had heard the bolter shells of Zsasz impact the enemy and that was a good enough signal for him to attack. He leapt upwards with several units of Guardsmen close by the rest of the Chosen followed him along the Kabal, bolt pistols blazing with muzzle flashes. He charged head strong into the crowd slashing away with his powerful claw and he let out a deafening ear piercing scream, those around him fell to their knees as their ear drums burst, they would probably never hear again and Kasu would take them for his personal troupe of slaves.

“Kasu get to the roof top and stop any aerial support” ordered Kabal.

The golden figure strode forward in a graceful manner; many stopped to admire his beauty but were mercilessly hacked down with his powerful rapier blade, the psychic weapon tearing body and soul to pieces. Kasu nodded in agreement, he wanted slaves but the mission must be completed. He made his way through the bodies to the main blast doors and ripped through them with great gapping tears with his powerful blessed claw. He looked back as his misfortune of not collecting slaves and hoped that Kabal would keep some alive, he disappeared quickly through the wrecked doorway with the rest of his squad.

As Kabal hacked away at the Guard white hot blasts of plasma with the power of a small star fire smashed several Guardsmen to pieces as their bodies lit up in a ball of fire.

“For the Dark Prince!” shouted Sahuiz.

Sahuiz disembarked from his Rhino transport as the havoc launcher on top rotated and fired a warp powered frag rocket into the crowd, it blasted apart sending razor sharp shrapnel in all directions cutting many into bloody rags.

“I am here to aid Sorcerer” commented Sahuiz as he joined the Sorcerers side.

Sahuiz cut a Guard down with his crackling blue rapier blade; he moved fast and launched into combat cutting several more down. He punched one in the face smashing helmet and bone, the victim fell down to the floor as Sahuiz executed a kerb stomp snuffing out his life. The rest of Sahuiz’s squad open fired on approaching Sentinel patrols incoming, they had possibly been ordered to return to base and open fired from afar with powerful autocannons.

The two sergeants of the Veteran units charged Kabal, both hoping with their extreme skill to kill the all beautiful Kabal. He easily dodged them aside; he was way too fast for the likes of mere mortals.

“Appearances can be deceptive” he whispered with a smile.

The beautiful figure of Kabal began to warp and mutate into a blob of shapeless flesh as the followers of the Emperor stood shocked in disbelief. The lifeless blob quickly morphed into Kabals normal appearance of a half serpentine multi breasted monster blessed by the Dark Prince.

“For the Emperor!” roared one of the sergeants.

Kabal was quick, his serpent body slithered quickly out the way and with a back handed stroke cut the sergeant in half with his rapier sword. As he was basking in pleasure of the humans defeat he felt a pain, in his victory the other sergeant had launched an attack ramming his glowing power sword into one of Kabals full pert breasts, the sergeant pulled the blade to the side cutting right out of Kabals body.

“I will slay you daemon!” roared the sergeant.

Kabal swatted him away as he basked in his senses of pain. He stood up quickly to full height and bright red blood poured over his silk serpent flesh. He reached and picked up the upper torso of the dead sergeant he had just slain, running a hand through his dark hair and smelling his face. A long snake like tongue dripped out of Kabal’s mouth and licked up and down the dead sergeant’s face.

“I’ll think I’ll keep this one” smiled Kabal with a seductive whisper.

A large bone spike erupted from his right shoulder and Kabal flung the dead torso up in the air where it came impaled on the spike. With his latest trophy on display Kabal charged for battle.

“I smell your fear” snapped Kabal.

The sergeant didn’t answer, Kabal wasn’t entirely sure if the gruesome display of behaviour had put the Veteran off his game or not. He would certainly find out.

Kabal leapt forward quicker than lightening, the sergeant barely got his blade up to block the attack. Kabal stuck again attempting to behead his enemy but was foiled with another block. The two parried back and forth taking swings and each other, despite Kabal been the quicker the Veteran was a prize and quick fighter.

“You will join your comrade soon my friend, or I might keep you as a pet” beamed Kabal with a smile.

The sergeant duelled with the Emperors Children Sorcerer; he ducked and dived as fast as he could and quickly snapped two krak grenades off his belt and pulled the pins. He dived out the way dropping them, but still engaged the Sorcerer hoping he hadn’t seen them. The Sergeant leaped forward thrusting his blade forward, he felt red hot pain as the Sorcerer cut into the sergeant with his own weapon, he heard a howl of pain from his enemy and then quickly leaped aside leaving his blade thrust into the creature. There was a large ear shaking boom as debris and dust blew up along with organic chunks as the two krak grenades detonated.

The dazed sergeant looked around his eyesight blurred and red hot pain in his right arm. He looked and spotted a red stump from his shoulder where his arm should be. He looked in the beast’s direction and a dark black crater was filled with an organic pile of blood, flesh and power armour. The creature began to move slightly, the sergeant withdrew his bolt pistol but he was too late. The Sorcerer moved with speeds as fast as light even without most of his body. Kabal reached forward and snapped the sergeant’s left hand, breaking it cleanly and threw the bolt pistol aside.

“You’ve done well human; you have delivered me to my senses which I have not experienced in millennia. You have lavished me, and in return I will do the same to you!”

Kabal grabbed the sergeant by the throat as the remaining Guard enclosed around him ready to fire on the order, though before the order could be issued Kabal and the sergeant disappeared into a bank of mist followed by a sweet intoxicating scent. The Sorcerer was gone and the sergeant, but the Guard cared not. They inhaled the musk left behind their fantasies running through their minds and played out, one by one they fell to the ground in an internal coma from which they would never wake and only dream.

Sahuiz looked over, Kabal had gone and was severely injured but he would surface some where with his arcane magic’s. The Sentinels were getting closer and the plasma fire wasn’t doing much damage against them.

“Hansoor, brother provide me with fire support!” barked Sahuiz.

“As you wish brother”

The shriek of high pitched sound and vibrations hit one Sentinel, its pilots head blowing to pieces in a shower of red filling the cabin with gore and skull fragments. Out of control it toppled over into another one of the dark green walking machines and both fell over onto the old aged road in a heap and a huge crunch of metal. It was the Sentinels turn to fire; the remaining four fired several autocannon shots at the mid point of the tower. Its old structure unable to handle the abuse cried out in pain, it buckled and the ferrocrete structure crumbled down pulling Hansoor and his Noise Marines into the rumble.

Sahuiz could see that Hansoor and a few others had survived, their runes blinking on his screen. No doubt they revelled in the pain they experienced and probably begged for more. Sahuiz could do no more here; he fell back inside the structure to secure the Adeptus site from within.

Zsasz watched the tower crumble down along with Hansoor.

“Enjoy it well brother” muttered Zsasz with a smirk.

He had to get out of this position, the Adeptus Mechanicus building had to be taken. He quickly communicated with the Rhino driver, the bulking transport in the lavish pink and black rumbled over, its ammo supplies exhausted after giving covering fire to Zsasz and his unit. The Punisher cannon began to rotate and fired on the Rhino, many of the shells bounced off as the Rhino rotated so its rear point was facing Zsasz, easy enough himself and his squad embarked in as the Rhino covered itself in smoke and slowly moved forward. The Punisher kept its name sake and for every inch covered by the Rhino is was punished as the Rhinos armour began to fail from the abuse. Several Emperors Children inside were hit by stray bullets and the Rhino let out a clunk and ground to a halt, the Punisher had done its work and stopped the corrupted transport. Then, out of the viewing port Zsasz spotted his life line. One of the meltagunners had survived, he watched as the marine crawled along the dirt out of view towards the rear of the tank. Without any infantry now to oppose him he open fired and a great gaping hole appeared in the rear of the tank, it edges glowing bright red as the meltagun did its work. Fuel leaked from the barrels and the marine hurled in a krak grenade inside the gapping hole in the rear of the tank and dived to the dirt. The tank erupted in a spectacular fashion eternally as the turret blown off and the barrel collapsed.

Zsasz exited the Rhino and flanked forward as the Noise Marine picked himself up from the dirt with smoulders of tank metal shards glowing hot on his armour.

“The Dark Prince favours you brother” muttered Zsasz with a nod while placing his hand on the marines shoulder. The marine nodded and now all Zsasz had to do was to hold the outside area and destroy the remaining Sentinels.

One the roof top Kasu and his Chosen had taken a pounding. Sahuiz was correct; a Valkyrie had been positioned on the roof and when the Chosen emerged the back door of the carrier dropped displaying Imperial Guard Storm Troopers with their charged lasguns pointing at them. Kasu was in cover, trading shots with the Storm Troopers his large bolt rounds blasting off the Valkyrie bodywork while their bright red beams pierced the large metal storage boxes Kasu hid behind. In the brief few minutes of gun fire half the Storm Troopers had been slayed, while they had cover in the Valkyrie it also acted like a dead end fox hole with no where to run, Kasu would soon use this to his advantage. Same could be said the Emperors Children, the hot shot lasguns for the Storm Troopers were overcharged, and by design to pierce power armour and metal storage boxes would be no problem for the weapons to shoot through. The well trained Guard showed no mercy and aimed for heads and eye sockets without remorse, three of the Chosen were gunned down and another was killed as he flanked around, luckily a stray grenade had managed to smash through the cockpit and detonate blowing up both pilots inside, at least the gun ship was now grounded.

Kasu looked around seeing the dark night surround the roof top, between the gun fire he hadn’t noticed the rain had stopped bouncing off his armour and the clouds had parted revealing a large white full moon. Kasu himself was behind a large metallic crate, he was unsure of its contents, with him were two other Chosen. Another two Chosen huddled together blasting their bolters over the top of their cover while a single Chosen crouched behind a small box crate, popping his up every now again as his pink armour shone in the moon light laughing with a daemonic laugh.

“You two, flank round either side. We will provide covering fire” pointed Kasu.

The two Chosen together nodded and one took the left while the other took the right, both ready to leap out from cover. Kasu and the others peered up over cover and fired into the back of the Valkyrie tt was doubtful any had been killed from bolter fire; the Storm Troopers were resourceful and had built a wall from their dead comrades giving them cover. The two Chosen quickly flanked around undetected with unnatural speed granted by there patron god and crawled under the Valkyrie carriage ready for instruction. Kasu communicated with them over his vox his plan of action.

“On my command throw frags!” ordered Kasu.

Each Chosen behind cover thrown several frag grenades into the opening of the Valkyrie carrier, each landing inside with a metallic clunk. The Storm Troops panicked around looking for the grenades as the two Noise Marines underneath the fuselage quickly sprung out and forced the drop door shut crunching pistons from the door hinges as it slammed shut. The grenades blew and screams of pain echoed which stirred those loyal to Slaanesh.

Kasu walked over calmly out of cover, the other Noise Marines flanking him with bolters trained. The two Chosen which had rammed the door shut pulled it down as a wisp of smoke bellowed out and several pieces of shrapnel were stuck in the inside of the metal door. Kasu surveyed the scene, in the enclosed area the Storm Troopers had fallen victim of the Emperors Children of their own error, the survivors now lay alive, but with several injuries. A wicked smile spread over Kasu’s wide black eyed face as he now had new flesh toys to play with.

Sahuiz entered the quiet hold of the Mechanicus it was deadly quiet and was filled with bloody corpses of the machine priests and large earth digging machines, only the echo of gun fire from several floors up could be heard and the piston driven limbs from the Sentinels pacing outside like wolves. His squad flanked forward, taking covering as they did. The Emperors Children enjoyed pain, but wasn’t open to it been inflicted from the enemy. Sahuiz and his squad flanked forward carefully through the facility when Sahuiz’s keen smell caught onto the scent of familiar incense oil, some of his other squad had caught it as well and quickly moved into cover, one marine flanked forward a few more feet to get in another position and caught something on his leg, a trip wire. Before the marine could use his super speed reactions blessed by the Dark God a huge flash erupted as a string of several melta bombs charges erupted. The marine’s bright pink power armour melted into a pool of molten metal with a hiss and bubbles as he felt the ultimate sensation as his flesh was incinerated in a flash.

“Emperors Children take cover!” ordered Sahuiz.

Several half machine and half brain dead humans appeared, servitors, with heavy bolters replacing their arms. Most were on the ground lead by a Techpriest Enginseer in dull silver power armour, a few had elevated positions on over head gantries. A fire fight erupted between the two factions, the servitors weren’t very accurate but the heavy fire would keep the Chaos Marines pinned. Sahuiz had his target, the Techpriest must be slayed, without his command the servitors would cease to function.

“Cover me” silky whisper came from Sahuiz’s vox to the remaining members of his squad.

Sahuiz leapt up with speed which could rival one of the Eldars grandest aspect warriors, he charged forward and hit the rune on his rapier blade. He jumped in the air, flew over the Techpriest and came down with a thud on top of a servitor crushing the automation with the weight of his armour. With super speed reflexes he swung around and cut another servitor into two pieces.

A huge gasping claw which any Iron Warrior would be the proud owner of sprang forward from behind the Techpriest aiming for Sahuiz’s head, he dived out the way easily and the claw smashed into a locking mechanism. Sahuiz noticed something he hadn’t spotted; on the floor was a large circle which was surrounded by black and yellow hazard trim. Inside the circle were large metallic doors, which were now melded together and covered in molten metal from the melta blast. Whatever the Lord desired was underground, and that access tunnel was the way down, only the damn Techpriest had used melta charges and the molten metal from the blast had fused the doors together.

The locking mechanism spat sparks as the access tunnel doors made a creaking sound, desperately trying to open. Sahuiz gripped the claw with force and rammed it into the bare electrical cables, hoping it was do some damage. He was lucky as the Techpriest jumped back from the electric shock and the claw fell dead. These priests were clever and no doubt the surge of electricity would be a temporary affect. Quickly, Sahuiz swung his rapier blade as the last second the Techpriest brought up a long axe, its head in the shape of half a cog. The block was futile as the force of Sahuizs attack cut through the axe handle and through the Techpriests upper chest and through his jaw ripping out melded flesh and cybernetic parts. The Techpriest fell down in a heap and blood oozed onto the metal floor, Sahuiz reached down and picked up the machine followers weapon, it would prove a worth trophy after a short, but thrilling fight.

“Sorcerer Kabal, the inside is contained and we are at an access tunnel” softly spoke Sahuiz into his vox.

No reply came, but Sahuiz was sure that Kabal would magically appear shortly. He removed his helmet and found he had once again been blessed by Slaanesh, his skin tone had become slightly darker and his face more attractive. Sahuiz knew his reflection form had altered, and curious to look spotted himself in the reflection of a shiny metal surface. Stood before was a Plague Marine in pink armour of that of a Noise Marine, his true appearance of his soul was rotting and diseased, though he did not care. He was beautiful and his slaves will lust after him in never ending orgies of sex and killings which he would divulge in soon.

“You’ve done well favourite of Slaanesh” muttered a weak whisper.

Sahuiz spotted the battered and burnt form of Kabal, most of his left side of his silk smooth serpentine body had been destroyed, on his right shoulder Kabal had also collected a new trophy as a corpse of a sergeant veteran hung loosely impaled on a large bone spike.

As Kabal tried to slither over the Sorcerer utter a spell of chaos magic, the roof of the building blasted to pieces as powerful bright bolts of purple lightning hammered down with powerful gusts of wind onto the sealed doors of the access tunnel. With a metallic rip the doors were torn off and sucked up into the void.

“Now I shall call our Lord”

Kabal smashed his two hands together while holding an arcane staff, a burst of light fired into the sky smashing more of the roof to pieces and a deafening ear piercing wail spread for miles. Any survivors from the fight, or anything living within close radius would be driven insane with the noise, internal organs would burst and blood would poor from all orifices. The call had been made and the Lord would soon arrive, in the mean time the Emperors Children would show the survivors the true meaning of pleasure……
