Gargad took a final drag on his cigar and dropped it into the foetid mud, crushing it under his heavy mechanical foot. Da ladz were looking antsy, especially that troop of madboyz who were currently hopping from foot to foot and splashing in the filthy water that oozed from the ground at the foot of the trench.
"Right ladz! we've got a new plan for krumpin da 'umies! What we iz gonna do iz scramble outta dis trench and run at 'em, all spread out so we'z can krump lotz of dem in one go!"
One of the boyz, barely out of his yoof, raised his hand and began to speak, "Boss, isn't dat da plan from da last attempt, da one where we gotz all shot up?"
Another ork piped in, "And da plan before dat one?"
A third joined the discussion, "And da plan before dat?"
Gargad grinned a wide and malicious looking grin, the movement of his lips hampered by the crude bionics welded to the left side of his face,
"Exactly!" he proclaimed, "'Dem 'Umies bosses is to smart for they're own goodz, dey iz probably suspektin dat we will come up wiv a real cunnin' plan, or somthin' like dat, wiv different tactiks and stuff! dey'll nevva suspekt dat we would try da same plan again! Now 'en, any questionz on what we are doin?"
The boyz looked at each other for a moment, then erupted into a bloodthirsty roar that filled the air with a symphony of rage and adrenaline, slamming ammo clips into their guns and clashing thier weapons as they scrambled up to the firing step, somewhere along the long line of boyz a fight erupted over who got to the step first, he knew today would be a good day for fighting. Gargad yanked on the ripcord and his power klaw roared into life, and he drank in the oily fumes from the exhaust. Climbing up onto the firing step, he shouted clearly over the din,
"Right ladz! on my signal, SHOW 'EM WOT IT'Z LIKE TA BE ORKY!!!"
Gargad's grin grew even wider...

Sharing a passion for loud and downright violent automatic weaponry, da gunslingaz gained their name not from their ballistic prowess, but from the fact that they will quite readily throw their shootas at the enemy when ammo begins to run dry...

As is common in Ork society, the presence of Wierdboyz (especially one prominent enough to be able to at least point a space hulk in vaguely the right direction during warp travel) tends to attract the attention of the less lucid members of the tribe. It is noted that despite the debris of war and an abundance of sharp things intended to incapacitate the horde, none of (Name Undefined) ever wear shoes. This is due to an unfortunate event where (wierdboy) stepped on the shrapnel from a fallen shell and the resultant whooping and hopping from the pain of several inches of jagged steel stabbing into the sole of his bare foot caused an unexpected and downright violent discharge of Waaagh! energy, detonating the heads of numerous nearby orks. Taking this as a sign from Gork and/or Mork that shoes are indeed the root of unorkyness, the madboyz quickly ditched their footwear in hopes of receiving the blessings of their gods...

Why I Started This Army
I've collected Orks and 40k in general since 1999 but have never really been involved until my last year of university when me and some housemates decided to get a couple of lists together and do some battles (using the living room rug, which is, rather usefully, 6'x4')
I wanted to achieve a 'modular' list as I don't have a very large wargaming budget, So I came up with a 'core' list of my warboss, nobz and 60 boyz (3x20 man mobs) and then dreamed up some modular components which I can switch around for variety/tactical changes.
