Why I Started This Army

The history and fluff of the Crimson Fists, has only a little bit to do with why I started this army. I like to play "in your face" armies, that would also be able to actually survive and win a game. Pedro Kantor does just that for this army. Sternguard in my opinion, are never worth taking in any other Space Marine army. But with the Fists and Pedro, they are scoring units. Which makes a unit of Sternguard dropping in to enemy territory all the more threatening. I liked the fact that I could come up with a army that did not use tanks, and yet still had extreme armor killing abilities.

What I Hope to Acheive

Fully Customized

My Sternguard are all individually modeled and customized.

I scratch built my Conversion Beamer on my Master of the Forge.

Every model has a resin cast base from Dragon Forge Design

Fully Painted

My local shop has a lot of tournaments where you can earn extra points for being fully painted or the best painted. Plus I feel that if my Fists are going to be dropping out of the sky, they need to do it in style!

I maxed at 2500 points. I figured I'll probably play this list in the 2011 'Ard Boyz.

Master of the Forge allows for them to be considered as Heavy Support choices.
Four Ironclad Dreadnoughts in total, all with Drop Pods.

1. All four have Heavy Flamers
2. Two of the Drop Pods have Locator Beacons

One 10 man Tactical Squad in a Drop Pod.

Two 10 man Scout Squads.

1. Squad A: Sgt. Telion, Heavy Bolter, Sniper Rifles
2. Squad B: Missile Launcher, Sniper Rifles
