When's your giant team tourney and/or Gladiator BatRep document going to be ready?

Very nice to see that the AdeptiCon staff not only take the time and effort to hold the convention, but they follow it up with a very nicely put together "retrospective".

Myself and a few friends will be loading up and making the long drive south (from Canada) to attend this years event. Should be a blast!

Probably helped by the fact you downloaded it at 4:15 AM EST.

I'm not doing one this year - I didn't do the Iron Man (since I was running the BFG Championships on Sunday), and didn't take enough pictures as it was. Plus I decided to take the proverbial knife to a gun fight in the Gladiator and got my head handed to me.

I am thinking of trying to organize an AdeptiCon After-Action Report contest for 2008...

I thought Ragnar won the 40K codicer?

By the way, the BFG portion was aces. Very cool.

Ragnar won the Codicier award in the Championships, not the Loremaster/Codicier Challenge. Sort of confused me too...

Those are very good video retrospectives. You should really make a separate thread highlighting them.

Its interesting to hear an interview of Jervis directly as opposed to second hand.

I am scratching my head at the consideration of the third edition of the chaos codex to be a landmark. Not really surprising considering what we have now though.

Still enlightening and the people that took the time to make the videos deserve a huge round of applause.

That was a little funny, actually, because he said second edition chaos codex, but they showed the art from the first third edition codex. So I'm not sure if he actually meant the Chaos codex used in the second edition of the game, or whether he was referring to the first codex used in the third edition of the game (maybe he wasn't counting Realms of Chaos and Slaves to Darkness as 'codices').
