Oh the tactics are the Sisters screen each other (yes, it's a gimmicky tactic but so what) and they in turn screen the guard.

Who then get a 3+ cover save.

The GK are the light ranged infantry fire, and tend to crush assaults.

The Sisters will give LD9 bubbles while they're around, and tend to shoot people to death.

The mass meltaguns and sharpshooter meltaguns is because vehicles are hard to stop and they do need to be stopped.

The vets are the 'drop on your troop choice holding the objective and plaster them' suicide unit.

Lastly, everything can infiltrate or drop except the Sisters and the 4 line squads. So if you go first, you can spread out and occupy the board...and put down a solid attacking force of 30 Sisters and 8 GK, backed up by 4 dropping guard units if needed. Guard aren't great, but guard with a 3+ cover save in all the cover in 3 quarters...sucks to deal with.

And why you're spending 40 Points to gain 2 extra Lascannon hits per game?

Sharpshooters is not a line squad upgrade. It's for units with 4 Meltaguns or units with 3 Lascannons/Autocannons/Heavy Bolters. It's certainly not for squads with 4 Lasguns and a Laspistol.

Moreoever, where's your Standard Bearer?

Finally, when you run into a Daemon Army, how will you handle Sustained Attack?

Ok so I'll answer today.

Without a FAQ to guide us, I can only say this about Grey Knights vs a Chaos Demon (not CSM) army:

The demons would appear to get nurglings, fiends of slaanesh, and flesh hounds of khorne recycled and that's it.

There are no 'demon packs' in the Chaos Demon army list.

Not defined, thus they do not exist.

In 5th edition, where are the sustained attack rules?

So...until we get a FAQ about chaos demon armies and grey knights....

I can be neither worried or not worried.

Honestly, they shouldnt complain TOO too much, the Grey knights have lost some pretty nifty abilities against daemons as well....even sanctuary wont work. (the psychic ability everyone says breaks the daemon codex....but actually doesnt)

It's more like just plain trooper vs trooper w/o all kinds of special rules added in...nothing for anyone to complain about there.

Yea, GKs really got hosed, first losing Instability and now these grey areas (and not the power armor wearing kind).

That is an interesting use of Sisters as Ld bubbles for IG though. I hadn't given much thought to using Sisters to boost IG in such a fashion, but if I ever decide to make an IG force I will have to plan to use that.

I would be curious to see this army in a Bat. Rep. against an ork horde though. I would be a little worried that it doesn't have quite enough shooting to drop enough before melee, and the GKs might not be able to put out enough hurt to really drop a big unit. Just maybe though, looks pretty solid.

I still dont agree with Sharp shooters. but hey its your army.

Why are you Dropping with Lascannon's ? Can your Drop Specific Squads i thought you got it for Paltoon and they all had to drop in. ?

And with your Paltoon HQ's you should take Plasma and or Melta's

Do like the sister idea though (personally wouldnt take melta bombs)

Not dropping with lascannons.

You can drop, or not drop, as you wish.

Uhh IG sarges come with it by default in AB. They'd have lasguns not CCW/pistol.

The platoon HQ's have meltas.

Book gives a LD bubble.
