Hello folks! I've exhausted literally every avenue trying to find Tomb Spyders. Dakka Trade, Bartertown, Rogue Market, thewarstore.com, every game store within 2 hours of me, local trade boards.....and still they evade me. I'm told that Tomb Spyders never picked up popularity so no one has them, and they're a direct sales item only - I don't want to drive hour+ to order them and go get them, and would prefer not to buy from
GW directly.
My hopes are that this thread will raise awareness of my need for Tomb Spyders and my willingness to
trade or buy them, while providing short bursts of entertaining reading.

I can hear them. Whispering in the dark from dusty and cobweb ridden niches deep beneath their tomb worlds. The faint skittering of a thousand thousand legs scrabbling endlessly in motion, timelessly waiting for their behemoth masters to unfurl their legs and advance across countless battlefields again. The call of the C'Tan is slowly growing stronger, trying to raise the unfeeling metallic monstrosities to once again see the galaxy burn. I can hear them whispering to me to call them forth to destroy... ... .............everything. I reach, beckoning them to answer my summons, and am rewarded with only a faint sense of disappointment over unspilled blood and hatred for every living creature in the universe.

Dear Journal:
Today was another day without Tomb Spyders. As a result, it was grey and overcast. And raining. And thundering and lightning. A tree fell over onto my house, creating a tremendous crash although it didn't cause any damage - just superficial damage to the gutter. The root system was rotten; corroded and eaten away by things that were unfortunately not tomb spyders. There was a fort up in the tree that the neighbor kids play on, and they were up in the tree. With a kitten. And a puppy. Neighborhood children, puppy and kitten are all now deceased. I read in the news today that more puppies were executed in South Korea to make
Bulgogi. Despite usually being made from pork or chicken, my time spent in the Army in Korea saw enough dog farms to know something closer to reality (and eat some, truth be told). Tensions rose between North Korea and the United States as well.
I'm starting to honestly worry about not having Tomb Spyders. With the death toll of children, puppies, and kittens in my neighborhood rising, South Koreans turning man's best friend into man's best dish, and the dawn of nuclear winter approaching, I'm afraid what escalations may be approaching as I wander aimlessly without them.

Dear Journal:
Today my Necrons played against a combined force of Tau and Space Wolves. Dawn of War, and my opponents got to go first. I deployed the Deceiver in mid-field. Turn one, and 4,000 points of Tau and Space Wolves marched onto the field. 2,000 points of mostly Tau suits (and broadsides) with relentless longfangs, razorbacks with twin-linked lascannons.....alright, maybe I made a mistake putting him out there by himself. A shooting phase later, the Deceiver had taken a single wound. He went on to make a broadside team run off the board, a crisis team run off the board, and he killed Logan and most of two units of Longfangs along with a unit of firewarriors. My Destroyer Lord with his Warscythe ate through Lone Wolves like butter....also eating suits, drones, and anything else that dared come near.
But by far...the MVPs of the game were my totally awesome tomb spyders, who ended up in multi-assault with 3 units of terminators and a unit of firewarriors, and proceeded to.... .....oh, damn it. :( I don't have any Tomb Spyders! Why am I not allowed to have MVPs?
