I don't care about the answer, I just want to be able to read the dark eldar thread.

Go nuts, guys.

Build a fire for a man and he will be warm for a day; set a man on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his life.

Sly Marbo was originally armed with a power weapon, but he dropped it while assaulting a space marine command squad just so his enemies could feel pain.

Sly Marbo doesn't go to ground, the ground comes to him.

I already answered you in that thread...

In short, the rules don't tell you what to do, so you have to make something up.

No you didn't.

Because I never asked in that thread.

There is no answer by RAW. Really, GW has not addressed it in 5th ed. Once upon a time they did address it, back when SW Scouts first got Behind Enemy Lines. Way back then, they said the unit was destroyed.

You know, I was dead certain everyone was just missing the passage in the rule book, but when I looked I didn't see anything?

Am I just thinking of 3rd or 4th edition? I could have swore the issue was covered before, and units unable to be placed when they should come onto the table were destroyed.

Was that an older ruling/codex entry/faq?

It's never been a core rule. The closest was the Space Wolf FAQ for the 3rd edition codex, with the ruling on Wolf Scouts unable to move on using OBEL.

Meanwhile, as there is a substantially more developed discussion happening here I'm going to lock this one for duplication.
