Forgive any shoddy pictures, they're from my phone and I don't have access to a better camera anymore.

The Disciples of Nephilim is my home brew chaos War Band. Played around the army painter a while and this is what I've come up with closest to what I'm doing paint scheme wise. Deep purple, enchanted blue trim, glowing green energy seeping from cracks in armor and the power weapons. Skin tones will be blues and purples to go along with the armor. And if a portion of the body has blue skin, any armor connected to it will be trimmed in silver instead.

The Disciples are Angelically themed, and will have as many raptors, flying daemons, and anything with wings that I can get legally in the game, they shall rain fire from the skies as rain, only to have it extinguished by the melted flesh due to the cacophony of sound from Noise marines.

Here are the raptors like I said. Along with the Daemonettes.

The raptors need heads still. And final posing. A mix of both the SG bits and chaos bits. Not sure what I"m going to do about heads yet though.

On the Juanettes? Does anyone have suggestions for the raptors? I want to keep the angelic thing going for them. Fluff wise, Nephilim his the raptors were once blood angels who fell under Slaanesh's grace. And I'd like the armor to reflect that. which it kinda already does using the artificer armor and such. But I want more than that.

I think if you gave them gold armour but possibly daemonette heads or similary corrupted looking faces would be cool. Like the armour is still pure but the things inside are all twisted and evil.
EDIT: Those daemonettes were sculpted by Juan Diaz (i think) hence the term Juanettes, they are pretty classic models and hard to get ahold of nowadays despite only being a few years OOP.

Oh okay, I wasn't aware of the artist who built them. They're amazing, expensive as hell though. I have 12 of them, the others aren't painted yet.

And I thought about that. But the Daemonette heads are too small for the bodies, and I don't have that kind of GS skill.

How about the deathmasks that come with the kit but with bleeding eyes? I know it's a little cliché but it could look cool.

Dunno if I have the technical precision to do that xD but I could give it a shot. I like the idea of the death masks. But I"m not too fond of the ones with this blister.

Update after a long time of absence.

The pictures I'm showing you are wip still. But these guys are much farther along now. Just need to take pictures of them. I'm extremely happy with he way these first raptors came out, and would love opinions and criticism from you guys on what I could do for the next squad of raptors. I'll still need 2 more squads of them at the least. I'll have pictures of them more or less finished up tonight. I've got work in a few minutes.

The Lord is built very similar to them.
