Rules:

Warhammer 40K 2000 Point Tournament
Armies will consist of 2000 points using a standard force organization chart.
The Warhammer 40,000 5th Edition Rules will be used.
Games Workshop FAQs will be used.
All armies must be drawn from the latest version of their codex

The following Codex armies are allowed:
Black Templars
Blood Angels
Chaos Daemons
Chaos Space Marines
Dark Angels
Dark Eldar
Eldar
Gray Knights
Imperial Guard
Necrons
Orks
Space Marines
Space Wolves
Tau
Tyranids
Witch Hunters

Forge World/Imperial Armor rules are not allowed.
Forgeworld models can be used to represent appropriate models from a legal army.

Individual units that may have multiple rules versions will follow the rules presented in that army's codex.

Special/Unique/Named Characters may be fielded unless their rules would not allow them in a 2000 point army.

We play by WYSIWYG or 'What You See Is What You Get'

That means all units must be easily identifiable as the particular codex choice they represent and that any and all weapons/options taken for a unit must be clearly represented on the model(s).

Inaccurate and confusing models can be removed from the board at any point and for the duration of the game, at the tournament directors discretion.

You must provide access to your own rules (which includes the actual Codex used for your army), dice, templates, pen/pencil, calculator, or anything else you'll need during the course of regular play.

You will be provided with an watermarked army list for yourself and one for your opponents to look at. If you wish for each of your opponents to have a copy, you will need to provide the extras.

Only army lists with the official watermark will be used in games in the tournament.

In order to keep the tournament running on schedule, when time is called for a round, all player's must drop the dice and stop playing - no exceptions. Because of this, please be aware of the time left in the round and do not start a turn you cannot finish.

If you field illegal units or models, they will be removed from play. If you field models other than those on your list, those will be removed from play.

Judges' rulings are final and arguments or poor conduct by players will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to deduct points or eject players who do not behave themselves appropriately. No refund will be given on an ejected player.

We are a 5 game tournament with three games on Saturday and two on Sunday. If you are not in contention for overall or best general coming into Sunday we will take grudge matches and try to pair you accordingly. Please let us know of all grudge matches prior to leaving on Saturday Evening.

Saturday night there will be a dreadnought death match with special prizes. Look for more information coming soon.

Awards

Emperor’s Champion – Highest of Total Battle + Total Apperance – Total Sportsmanship

Best Five Star General – Highest Battle Points, Sportsmanship then Overall for tiebreakers

Best Oorah (Sportsmanship) – Highest Sportsmanship Points, Overall then Battle for tiebreakers

Best Spit Shine(Painting) – Highest Apperance Points, Battle for tiebreakers

Dreadnaught Arena Winner

A Player may only win one award, if they were supposed to win more than one they will be given the most prestigious award and removed from the others.

Well, with 40-50 people in attendance, and a $60 entry fee plus prize support, I would expect prizes to run along those lines.

Gentlemen,
Due to a lowering of the cost of our venue, I have reduced the cost of the tournament by $10.00 down to $50.00. I have issued refunds to those who have paid with paypal. If you came into the store to pay, just stop by and we will give you your refund as well. Just trying to pass the savings along as we know the times are tough.
