Hi everyone,

Like I mentioned in the last game I've decided I'm probably better off just hosting these for a bit rather than participating. So this thread is to see just how many people are willing to join the next game I'm probably going to kick off in about a week or when we hit enough players. The number I'm looking for for the game will be 12 like normal, seems to be a decent well rounded number for these. Any after 12 will be counted as reserves, which actually seem to get placed into a running game fairly frequently.

Well the plan for this is funnily enough Ork themed, in the way of Gretchin and Squigs though there is room for the other two roles; the doctor and the detective.

@n0t_u - I might be down for joining, though I've found myself deciding the meta here needs more power roles, not less. Is this going to be a relatively basic, or are you going to mix it up?

I have a suggestion for a relatively simple role generation system I've played under that could generate some interesting and mostly balanced effects if you're interested. If you've already got your setup planned and don't want to make it open that's cool too - I'm blatantly fishing.

Hey Thor, once this game is over (or before, if it won't mess up n0t_u's game) I'd like to see your thoughts on power roles. I'm looking forward to running another game sometime.

Sure - though I'll want you to probably be more specific in what sort of thoughts you want. Also, i don't see it as likely to be messing with n0t_u's game, as if he uses the system I suggested it's perfectly functional (and appropriate) to tell the players what system he's using. It generates randomly so it's not like anyone could game the system.

Actually, I'm only seeing 12 there Drk_O. Ferret and Bishop asked to be in it before I even made this thread.

Currently having a look over the system Thor sent me, should be starting soonish. I might have to modify it slightly though as it seems to need a D100 and I don't have one...

There's 6 groups, but they don't have the same amount in them so a D6 would not be a fair choice. Anyone know any random number generators I could use for it?
