(orks deployed first)



spacemarines brace themselves for combat



The first shots are fired and orks begin to fall



orks return fire and move up towards the marine position



marines let off more rounds to try and stem the green tide and the dreadnaught charged the shoota boyz unit.

The dreadnaught crushes 3 of the 5 remaining orks but the orks have the last laugh and strike the dread down with a well placed power claw hit.



The orks continue to move towards the marines, except the shoota boyz who think it would be best to retreat back a bit



orks shoot and the a deffkopter with buzzsaw charges a marine unit killing 2, the chaplin then movs to join the combat and fails to kill the kopter



the orks take some damage from spacemarine wepons but reach the marine lines in force.
a combat is fought and the marines deafeat the ork boyz only to be wiped out by the ork deffdread.

we called the game a draw because neither of us really was too interested in working it out or arguing.
