The hobbit will also have most kits from the desolation of smaug, and in There and back again kits will be released.

40k will also have an expansion released with new named factions for imperium and mini codex's for smaller factions. (planet strike), and 40k fortifications for indepent armies, starting with aegis defense lines.

Also the GW site will changed allow the purchase of forgeworld products from online which can also be done in stores. The new site will also feature more hobby tips ans paint schemes. Games Workshop are changing their current look and will have their site, magazinws and stores looking different by the end of the year.

The new starter set for warhammer fantasy 9th edition set to be released this summer will contain orcs and goblins and empire. The set will contain mounted riders for empire and gunners. Night goblins and orcs with a river troll for O & G. There is set to be around 50/60 models in this set with more than said here.

Note this is from a good source though the models content is not tor definite.

To go with forge world combining web pages with GW, they will release codexes containing their products with all rules, stats and fluff for each army for both 40k and fantasy. These will be similar to supplements with new rules and warlord traits. The prices are said to be similar to 40k hard back codices.

Forge world is being rumoured to start doing hobbit/lotr kits. This has come around with GW not being able to produce a smaug model due to their agreement with new line cinema that all models must be of right likelyness and scale. Other models rumoured to be done are the necromancer, sauron and even terrain.

Note this is just rumours at the moment

13/1/14: Dwarfs

Dwarfs are set to get a heavy release in the first two weeks of february. The first week is the armybook and all redos of metal/finecast kits along with troops units. The second week will bring new kits and the larger ones like warmachines and characters, a new plastic dwarf king clampack.

Dwarf slayers and hammerers will get a new plastic kit and a new siege engine aswell aswell as a war alter will be released aswell

New gw website:

The new gw website will launch in march. The forgeworld, black library and gw sites will merge as one under the name of Games Workshop. How all books and fw products will be arranged is to be seen. whether all books and novels will be under each army they are about or under a black libary tab and FW products under each army or under a FW tab.

So thought id share some info I had from a gw staff member.Forge world have completely taken over finecast for good aswell as the whole of the hobbit/lotr range. Apparently gw no longer care for it as it does not make them enough profits compared to 40k and famtasy. This also makes the rumours about fw making their oen hobbit kits such as smaug more believable. 

What do you mean by redos of metal finecast kits along with troops? Aren't they already out?

Some metal/fincast kits will be redone in plastic and infantry units

You might want to cut and paste your other rumors from other threads into the original post of this one.

I don't know off the top of my head when Dark Eldar last were printed, but it seems odd.

He is the source. He's a rumor monger just like Stickmonkey, Natfka, Hastings or Harry. You accept that he is the source and move on. He's not going to tell you that he hangs out with Cruddace and plays poker.

If his predictions turn out to be true, he has a reliable source. If you don't trust his rumours yet, why would you trust his claim his source is reputable?

SOB has been updated to 6th.

And that's a tried and true way to give out rumors.

I strongly doubt that Dwarfs will get a Codex in February
An armybook maybe.

They didn't. They're mentioned in the 6E rulebook, amongst other abhumans, IIRC.

I am not sure whether this is of any help when it comes to confirming or denying rumours, but here goes:

I was at Warhammer World on the 27th of December and happened to notice that the entire Space Wolves army was absent from the display museum section (except for Canis Wolfborn) Now, I am not sure, but I can imagine three reasons why the entire army would not be there: They're in a photo-shoot for a new Codex or perhaps for a battle report or for a new book.

If they're there for a battle report - then it's curious to think how almost all (except Orks) armies in need of a 6th Ed. codex are Imperial so who would they be fighting if not a Xenos race thus confirming (perhaps) the idea that it's about a new codex...

I may be getting too excited over this and it could all turn out to be a short photo shoot for another campaign book but at least I thought I'd share it here. There may be someone who's much more well acquainted with the reasons why whole armies are not on display.

There is a new campaign book (planetstrike) set to appear in june but the wolves codex is also rumpured to be this year aswell so there is a fewpossibilties.

I consider the digital codex just an update, like the one BA got a few years ago. I still think they will have an updated 6th ed codex by next year. I'm just skeptical about a guy who lists all of the unupdated codexes as a rumor.

The history of SOB is a series of codexes just like that one so it is entirely in line with what we have seen before.

And I share you skepticism.
