Hi,
I am Attilla, the main coordinator behind the Project Points Cost, or PPC for short.
It is my great pleasure to announce that we have finally reached what we believe is the first truly stable version of the PPC points and comp rules! We will from now on name our versions according to the date it was updated, current version is now 2015.11.
For many months now, we have been tweaking the army lists and our composition document, all the time also tweaking our points formula as well to make it more accurate as time better showed us the value of different model stats. I post this here as this is milestone in the PPC development and will easily be missed if only posted in the Proposed Rules section.
What does this mean for the future?
For you, this means that you can now download your army list and play around with its synergies, knowing that there will not be updates every few weeks anymore that throws your unit costs around.
For us this means we can now focus on creating things like BattleScribe files for easier listmaking, rules for unoffical units (such as the Warmachines factions), reference cards (such as the Bloodbound and Stormcasts we already have), and an unoffical but probably very helpful FAQ. All this will of course be available at our blog: http://ageofwargamers.blogspot.com
Finally we will also take us the time to develop and playtest some more scenarios for competetive play.
Can we still report on oddly costed units and other misses?
Of course! Please do, you can either report directly on the blog, or in this thread. Finally you can either PM me, or email me: attillaq3 at gmail.com if you want to keep it private.
Cheers everyone!

On a delicate chain at her throat, she keeps it with her to this day.”

Cheers all!
I've finally gotten around to transfer all points costs as of 2015.11 into a BattleScribe file.
This file also contains the Seraphon list. I do not have the Battletome, so can't say with 100% certainty that it contains the correct models. But should you notice anything odd, just let me know.
I'm sure there are other oddities in these lists, as I have never done any BattleScribe lists before. But again, let me know and I'll fix!

I've uploaded unit cards for all Empire army list entries now. They can be found on the blog!
I've decided to not include any PPC costs on the cards - so they are more usable to people not using the system. I've also updated the Stormcast and Bloodbound to these new versions without point costs.

Thanks for all the hard work! This is a really great comp system, and has turned AoS (ironically) into the most balanced wargame I've played.

Road to Renown! It's like classic Path to Glory, but repaired, remastered, expanded! https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/778170.page
I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.
I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games. |

Thanks for the very nice words! Wouldn't be possible without all the fantastic input you people have provided!
Added the Seraphon list now, although it's pretty much the same as the Lizardmen with just some name swaps and an added hero.
Cheers!
