Title is awkward, but I don't really know how to describe it. I saw this: http://bearsbears.ytmnd.com/ (has sound!) and want to make a model out of it. I know, I know, you agree. It's a totally awesome idea and deserves some conversion work. But, I don't know where to find models that can accomplish such a thing. If anyone knows of good Khador models from WM or other sources for the russian infantry, or giant bears (with saddles? ) in a fitting scale, I'd love to hear ideas.

A friend is currently building a Warhammer Fantasy Kislevite army. She used Bears for her cavalry instead of Horses. There are a couple different bears in the Kislev range that would work well.

This would seem like a good place to start, although there is only a single bear type and it appears to only be sold as a very pricey box set: uk.games-workshop.com/storefront/store.uk

You can buy the bear seperately as components (or at least you always used to be able to) There are also some classic bears in the classic minitures range that might be useful. Check the monsters and ogres catalogue in particular. That one has some great beasts and warewolves etc.

Check out Col. Marbles' site at Frother's; he's got a whole list of bears and bear cav for nordic armies; I'm sure you can figure something out from that...

Thanks guys. Didn't know it was that easy to find 'em. I know Kislev existed but didn't know the extent of their bear stuff. I'll def. check out marbles' site. Bears with guys holding AK-47s might just be my new kroot.

I think Mark Copplestone makes a set of polar bears. It comes with penguins too, and you know that penguins all carry demo charges on 'em
