Would make a good base for a Daemon Prince Angron conversion.

Given its name, it's a Korgorath - the thing from the AoS boxed set. Which has skull acne, so a bigger version of it needs it too!

I think they work on this model, it breaks up the flesh quite effectively.

Looks like Death might be next for a re-boxing and hopefully some new minis? Look at the little blurb on the cover. Cheers to warhams77

I don't think we'll see new minis, but reboxings yes.

Remember that we still don't know much about the "Death" faction and they play a big part in "Balance of Power".

Guys, let's try to use spoilers if you want to quote a series of large pics, because otherwise you waste a lot of electrons and data plan bits downloading all the repeated material just for a tiny comment of very little reading value.

Death already got the first wave of reboxes (Nagash, ghost things and Mortarchs) ^.^

I want new Death models and a dedicated Battle-tome dammit >.< The giant Korgorath looks way better than the original K'daii Destroyer sculpt did, glad they re-purposed it into something of much higher quality. It's actually quite large too, thumbs up from me overall.

I think it looks great.. but how much will it cost?

I'd like to see a pic of him next to a knight, or a warhound maybe, for a better-er size comparison

Not a fan of the big Khorne thing proportions, the head is oversized and body just feels like kitbashed attached bits. A pass.

I had no idea there were D16s

In X-wing, there's an ability which can stack a ton and people have started using a small holder for a D20, but D20s on their own have a tendency to roll all over the place! Hence my asking

I just put the D20 on a model's base and track Wounds that way if it's a model with high enough Wounds.

I like the mega-Khorgorath. And seconded on the skull acne actually working on this one. Unlike the others it looks like the skulls were lodged there when the beast was armored up, and have slowly worked their way into the flesh. On the others the skulls are just... there, and in stupid positions. As for its rules, it better be good for a model that expensive! I dislike it when a big centerpiece model has 'meh' rules.

I'll be all over that Death alliance book at that price... I wish they would release the battletomes in softcover format but oh well. At any rate, great move by GW to make the grand alliance books cheaper.

I actually think the fluff for the skull acne also works in the Korgoraths favor. They eat skills until they're full, then immediately leave and go back to Khornes realm to vomit up the skulls in front of his throne Really wish it wasn't there on Archaons mount though.

I'm sure, some time the will reprint the Battletomes in Softcover too.

On one hand I'm glad for another Grand Alliance book, but on the other for some reason this one feels a little rushed at first (and brief) glance. Hoping the quality of the inside material is up there with the Chaos book, even though it's significantly shorter. Not liking the cover much. The marks around the "Grand Alliance" part look like some sort of evolutionary progression of a tadpole to a sideways turtle/baboon sort of thing.

Looks more like the vertebrae in a spine to me.

I guess with this book coming that means that the Death Grand Alliance won't be getting any new models.
