I'm gona have to buy the captain on ebay aren't I.

There's only two games workshops in Norfolk, no chance of another opening. And the main store moved location just two months ago, for the first time in 20 years.

Also I love the idea of asking your local GW where other stores are opening. Hay blackshirt, where else can I spend my money, I don't care if the lost sales will cost you your job I want my shinnies.

I wish they would put realistic point costs on these guys. The rules don’t look bad, but he should be a 20-45 point upgrade over a stock TDA captain.

Adding a powerfist is normally a 10 point swap for the sword (which he gets to keep)
A combi weapon is normally a 5 point swap for the SB (which he, again, gets to keep)

Now is the one shot melta grenade worth more then a regular combi? Maybe. They had me until “blast” which I think is actually a drawback. But armorbane is better then melta, and it has range. Could be worth an extra 5 points.

Age of Sigmar has posted the RULES for the Terminator Captain with Thermogenic Combi-fist. Like the 30th Anniversary Space Marine he's a free upgrade (in this case, a free upgrade to a Terminator Captain) and he seems to lack the ability to take any additional wargear.

Ok, so the captain is going to be available throughout the uk on 1st October only, right?

Then how do you get the terminator chaplain?

You never know,the figures may end up being available from existing stores if they rebrand to 'Warhammer'.

As far as we know, it is the Dudley store only on 1 Oct. I'd love it if it wasn't the case.

To be honest, it seems like a waste of time and energy attempting to get either of these, no matter how nice (or not) the sculpts themselves are.

Sold out maybe? I haven't seen the chaplain on there yet.

Probably anticipating getting hold of copies to sell, then not managing to do so.

It's possible that GW have reported them to eBay to drop the sales, but I'm not sure they have any legal basis. It's most likely that the allocation was lost, or someone made them a private offer.

Chaplain won't be available for another ~4 weeks, as you need to earn them in the new store.

My local store says he's trying to get some of them to sell, but that any unsold ones are most likely going back to HQ to be sent out for the next store opening.

Chaplain looks pretty terrible with all those purity seals and skulls.. Pass.

Yeah, not a good figure to go with over the regular FC Terminator Chaplain (which is a great model and not LE).

This model was available for the reopening of the one of the UK stores. I had to get mine of of ebay since I live in the states. There are going to be more miniatures like this. According to a GW rep I talked to over the weekend. The states got the 100th store marine. UK gets the terminator captain. Singapore/Asia will have the terminator chaplain.

The idea as far as I understand it is that 100 of this figure will be made available for any new store that opens worldwide, with some number of the chaplains being made available a month later for people who entered the reward scheme on launch.

So whilst you can't get one now, eventually a store will open you will be able to get one (or get someone to get one for you).

For people local to the Dudley/Malaysian place, it's a license to print money, but give it a year and you'll be sick of them

whether or not it's the case here ebay has a current fault where lots of listed items can't be bought as they're coming back with this message (pretty much all of the Lego on the UK site and a fair bit of it elsewhere this morning for example),

the claim a fix is in progress but how long it takes who knows

A shame that they won't be widely available, but to be honest I don't really need them...

He'd make me want to restart my Deathwing project though, so no dice GW!

The new Chaplain is pretty blingy, but it isn't bad for it. It just isn't for me because I hate bling a lot.

Great job GW. We won't let deathwatch take chaplains in terminator armor, cause no plastic termy chap. Release super stupid LE plastic. Donkey caves of the highest magnitude. Seriously what business model are they trying here? Basic grade school math proves this a stupid idea. After cutting the molds we will sell 20 of these and then wonder why we are hemorrhaging money. Whilst eBay scalpers reap fanboy coin.

Should be pretty easy to trim down the nipple tassels as you get at them from the back.

I want that chaplain. Since it is so stupidly limited, I guess I have to hope that someone in China gets a copy.

FYI my local store is going through re-branding and has a "re-opening" where they are going to sell the captain... So you don't need a "new" store to get this...

It is going to be permanently available from warhammer world from what I was told by the citadel store supervisor yesterday. Should mean eBay will have a few more available.
