Core:

6 Chosen Knights, Mark of Slaanesh, Musician, Standard, Champion, War Banner = 365

5 Knights, Mark of Khorne, Musician, Standard = 240

6 Warhounds = 36

5 Warhounds = 30

8 Gors w XHW,8 Ungors, Musician, Foerender = 113

Tuskgor Chariot, Undivided = 85

5 Furies =  75

Rare:

Spawn of Slaanesh = 75

Spawn of Tzeentch= 75

2250 exactly, 7 dispel dice, 2 scrolls

This army is a mix of stuff I've done before and the round 5 army Therion faced at the Finnish GT.  I have more magic and fewer footsloggers.

It's supposed to be a punchy all-powers army with an emphasis on Slaanesh.   I originally had both spawn Slaaneshi and the Chariot Undivided, and one more Fury, but that left the Khornate knights sticking out even worse than they do now, and it felt a bit lame.   This way my units are 2 Slaanesh, 1 Khorne, 1 Nurgle, 1 Tzeentch,  1 Undivided, and 5 unmarked.

Right now I'm trying for a combination of fast moving, hard-hitting, and magic.  If I wanted more hard-hitting, I could easily swap out the L4 for a scroll caddy or another hitty hero, and throw in a unit of 3 Dragon Ogres with Great Weapons.  Those are pretty nice too.

What do people think?

Where are you planning on putting the generaL? The army seems mobile, but the general on foot and the marauders seem a little weird to me.

The general will run around on his own, unless there are cannons or other war machines about which can pick him off. In that event, he'll go ahead and walk in the marauders, surrounded by a horde of faster units.

Both he and the Bray Shaman will take Lore of Shadow, with the intent of flinging the general bodily towards the enemy war machines, fast cav, knights, chariots, or shooty support units, for him to butcher with four WS7 S5 or S7 attacks, depending on whether he needs a 2+ save or a great weapon against whatever he's fighting.

I got no major complaints, but you're playing a huge all eggs in one basket approach considering the unit of Chosen Knights and the Exalted Sorcerer will be worth about 900 VP if destroyed. You would benefit from a unit or two of Marauder Horsemen with flails as they are only 75p per unit and got S5 attacks on the charge. It's worth noting that you are spending over 900 points on heroes which is a lot and is clearly eating at the rest of the army.

I'd also consider dropping a few Gors and adding some more Ungors and a standard bearer to the unit but that's minor detail.

EDIT: I started thinking and ended up clicking a new list with army builder for you. It's essentially the same army but changed to the better.

Heroes:

Exalted Champ, Mark of Slaanesh, Steed of Slaanesh, Shield, Berserker Sword = 202

L4 Exalted Sorcerer, Mark of Slaanesh, Chaos Daemon Sword, Barded Steed, Spell Familiar = 419

L2 Bray Shaman, Bray Staff, Dispel Scroll x 2  166

Core:

6 Chosen Knights, Mark of Slaanesh, Standard, War Banner = 335

5 Knights, Mark of Slaanesh, Standard = 205p

Chaos Warrior Chariot = 120

15 Marauders, Flails = 90p

5 Warhounds = 30

5 Warhounds = 30

5 Marauder Horsemen, Flails = 75

5 Marauder Horsemen, Flails = 75

Special:

5 Gors, 12 Ungors, Foerender, Standard, Musician = 118p

5 Furies =  75

Tuskgor Chariot = 85

Rare:

2 Spawns of Slaanesh = 150

1 Spawn of Tzeentch = 75

2250 exactly

You can make either the fighty hero or the sorcerer lord your general depending on your style of play. The sorcerer lord would join the weaker unit of Knights and the Chosen would operate on their own. Both of those units can now be supported by Warhounds and hitty fast cavalry. Additionally you also have a stronger Beast Herd and an additional Fiend of Slaanesh and that extra Spawn will be worth its weight in gold. I also gave your sorcerer lord an extra spell so it's safer to assume you'll get Delusions and Spasms every game.

Just an idea of course.

Nice list! I like the looks of it.

I'm completely torn about what to bring to the next event I play in. Chaos is itching to come and play, but my WE are already painted. Decisions, decisions...

One problem, Therion: With a Slaanesh general, you can't have a Tzeentch Spawn.

That's a typo of course. Why would anyone want to have a Tzeentch Spawn?

Hokay, so I think I'll work on this next, with the idea of using it at another GT or two this year. Making a couple of tweaks based on the models I have...

Heroes:
Exalted Champ, Mark of Slaanesh, Steed of Slaanesh, Shield, Berserker Sword = 202
L4 Exalted Sorcerer, Mark of Slaanesh, Chaos Daemon Sword, Barded Steed, Spell Familiar = 419
L2 Bray Shaman, Bray Staff, Dispel Scroll 166

Core:
6 Chosen Knights, Mark of Slaanesh, Standard, War Banner = 335
5 Knights, Mark of Slaanesh, Standard = 205p
Chaos Warrior Chariot = 120
15 Marauders, Flails, Musician = 95
5 Warhounds = 30
5 Warhounds = 30
5 Marauder Horsemen, Flails, Musician = 81

Special:
5 Gors (xhw), 12 Ungors, Foerender, Standard, Musician = 118p
8 Furies = 120
Tuskgor Chariot = 85
5 Centigors, Musician = 92

Rare:
2 Spawn of Slaanesh = 150

2248

I'm also tempted to try and squeeze in a BSB and/or a couple more standards (mostly for modeling/appearance points), but right now I have the models to make this list.
