So my grand total aint as high as i thought it was..588 figures to do, 268 in various stages of painting.. Nothing is sealed.or been "washed" yet..

Thanks nope.. they will forever be knights 1 and 2 of the gallant lance i really want to use against the stompa formation my neighbors are working on. The final 2 in the court ill probably use magnets for them so can swap out as needed. They both have the melta gun, but the thing on their carapiece/heads can be swapped out, have 1 of each those two gun/missle, for the guys as needed.

OK, cool!

Estimated about 80 unfinished pieces. This includes base coated and partialy painted.

JohnHwangDD Those Gallants have been a good supplement to the ravenwing, even just one of them is alot of focused fire for a round or two to let me turbo boost and charge! If they stayed back and shot as a different type of knight, the stompas across the street do wreck my face

Just because it has a gun, doesn't mean it has to stay back... I like these kinds of units as a linebreaker, where they fire as they advance.

I might have a problem. Currently other than a few Kickstarters, I'm not allowed to buy anything until I start clearing some things from my Queue Shelves.

This is an older picture but it is fairly accurate, except for Blood Rage, MERCs, Black Plague, Rum and Bones, and Mantic KS which are still in boxes. I haven't made room for them yet but I'm working on a new system as I started to clean things up better. These two book shelves are currently considered the queue for my backlog. I have another black book shelve like these two that is my actual queue (a couple shelves for needs cleaning/assembly, couple for ready for priming or primed and two for painting).





Then there is the closet. All the boxes still have the miniatures in them, they have yet to go into my queues. That doesn't show the shelves in the garage where stuff is set to dry after airbrushing and my terrain.

Oh dear. And I thought the amount of stuff I had to paint for my Guard was bad....

I've been plugging away at my IG off and on, with many distractions, but it's getting there...

I admit I have a problem. I have hundreds of times more models than I could possibly paint in a lifetime.

Therefore: I must...

Build a time dilation device allowing me to have orders of magnitude more time to build and paint models, and so that I can accumulate even more! Bwahahahaha

Failing that....

Advance medical technology so that I will live orders of magnitude longer, fix the environmental problems of this planet, divert the giant asteroid headed this way, and fend off the zombie apocalypse so that I can accumulate and paint more models!

And if all else fails...

Just enjoy painting what models I can and lovingly imagine how all those sprues will one day populate game tables

4 kasrkin sergeants, 4 kasrkin flamers and 4 kasrkin grenade launchers (40k) on my painting desk and almost completed.
10 boomhowlers (warmachine) on my painting desk and almost completed.
20 kasrkin with hellguns to do.
10 republic grenadiers (anvil industries) to go.
20 eisenkern storm troopers (Dreamforge) to go.
10 riders of Rohan (lotr 'historicals') and 12 men of numenor to go.
Contents of battle at calth to go.
2 ariadnans (infinity) to paint up.

There is Also a box with assorted lotr elves and some various odds and ends.

Overall I am at 87% painted.

This thread makes me feel better and yet somehow worse at the same time...

Behold! The cupboard or Mental Illness! Gaze not too long into its depths or lose your sanity forever....yeah, you can't even see the stuff stacked in behind all that.


About 400 minis, vehicles and assorted terrain in there. I'm with Talys and his plan for getting it all done - hope for significant breakthroughs in longevity science!

Still, on the bright side, I've finished over 800 to date (well, over about 20 years...)

Yeah about a full company of Space Marines (not even sure what they're gonna be yet), a few tanks and a squad of Ig and that's about it for GW. Perry Miniatures is another story...
