A squat won a golden demon!?

http://gamesday.us.games-workshop.com/GamesDay2007/chicago_cov/goldendemon/s1/s1.htm

Based solely on this I predict that Squats will be the next codex!

And Orks will be moved back to 2009.

don't joke about the moving the orks back- you'll jinx it and it'll happen

funny thing is the manager of a GW store i went to a few times gave people a 3 strike warning before kicking people out for mentioning squats

so i brought in my epic squat army for the veterans night.............

That's pretty ballsy for a staff member. More power to him.

Ballsy indeed, and a cool model too.

"The last known instance of common sense happened at a GT. A player tried to use the 'common sense' argument vs. Mauleed to justify his turbo-boosted bikes getting a saving throw vs. Psycannons. The player's resulting psychic death scream erased common sense from the minds of 40k players everywhere. " - Ozymandias

Excellent.  One small step for a squat.  One giant leap for squatkind.

Now all we need is for someone to enter and win with a Pan Fo.

I daresay anyone who enters a Pan Fo would be swiftly reviled.

Are you ready to have your mind BLOWN?

"...it is much derailed, in places high and low" she heard the shipmaster saying "that there ever was a race of being of the name the squats, and many scholams and thos of the high mindful claim it's just a myth a thing that never was, but my direst old grand avuncular sweared to me that the Unwerth lineament has some timbre of that blood in it, right back in all perspective I mean."

Ravenor Rogue, Page 89.

There we have, 3 sightings in a week.

Obviously these stories about 'orks' are just a smoke screen for Codex Squats.

I must say, Squats are probably the only race that could be released before Codex: Orks, without much realistic complaint.  If Squats were released next, and Orks pushed back again, I don't think I could justifiably voice a complaint at that.  I think I'd have to call it even.

Regardless, it's not happening.  Let's hear it for the Orks!

The "stunties" were also mentioned in the Epic Armageddon rulebook, released not too long ago. Obviously a teaser.

I have it on good authority (a friend who once touched a redshirt) that the space dwarfs will be returning sometime next year, with their lead-in book Codex: Demiurg.

This will be followed by Codex: Squats in 2009, Codex: Chest Press in 2010 and Codex: Diahorrea in 2011.

Unfortunately, this will mean that Codex: Orks will be pushed back to 200n+1, allowing only Dr. Who to play as orks. If you ever see them, then you'll be bundled into a black van, fed psychotropic drugs to prevent you remembering the route and driven to the nearest battle bunker, where you will be processed by a man in a black suit who will come to reveal himself as a lobster and then spend three days watching the walls melt to reveal a great big stern face that will just stare at you.

On a more serious note, is that line really in Ravenor: Rogue? Awesome!
