Like the title says

If you can't pick one, post a few!

At Warseer there's a thread like this and I'd love to see dakka faves.

Here are a few of my very faves:

My all time labour of love 2005-2006:

Weird, speed painted fave 2006...just something in the simple conversion and how he works in the gang that makes me so fond of him. Necromunda is also the best, most enjoyable GW game to me.

Inquisitor Lord Frostschein and his trusty little librarian Samuel from 2003. So many war stories and bits of fluff on top of the modelling have shaped them into true dramatis personae in our gaming group. He hasn't bee same since S6 perils of the warp though

Currently I am very childishly excited about the TWAR, but you've seen enough of them

man i love the necron head on coatez's body...so cool...

unfortunately, i don't get many pics of my minis before they have to be shipped out...here are a few that still make me happy after all these years...

please to enjoy...

this guy is from back in '01...just havin' fun with conversions and urban camo...

this guy is from '03 i think...he is 22 seperate pieces from a few different ranges(includin' inquisitor scale)...he was my second iron hand, and i really enjoyed buildin' him...

this was my first alt. scheme work for privateer press, and still one of my favorite warbands...done in late '03 i believe...

this was one of the last battlegroups i did for privateer before i left...mike gave me free rein, so i chose the paint scheme based on the box cover, and the illustrations in escalation...done in '05...

i really like this guy, 'cause i painted him for larry elmore's personal collection...what better homage than to paint it as a portrait of the man himself...done in '04...

these last couple are some more recent...unfortunately, most of my work doesn't see the light of day until 4 or 5 months after i finish...so i can't show off the new stuff...these are painted to my tabletop standard...nice and clean though...

thanks for lookin'...

cheers

 jah

I'll bite ^_^

A few years ago a friend of mine gave me all of his Space Wolves stuff. And from that my favorite model he ever modeled became mine. Thus he got paint:

I did this guy for the Mook Painting Competition back in the day before I left for Iraq circa 2003-2004. I couldn't get a good photo at the time so he looked like garbage when I submitted the pic. I ended up posting like a week later with better pictures ^_^;..:

And my latest and quite possibly best conversion to date:

I love that last one, grey.

Does the Emperor's Champion model justice, to say the least. I wish my conversion skills were that good, let alone my painting.

Jah - Really like your stuff man.  Fav model from the group you posted is the golden colored warmaster.  Just awesome.

Grim - Weathered dread feets!!  You're making me want to paint my extra dread >.>...

Migs - the necromunda guy is oddly awesome in his simplicity and yet elegant in execution.

Corpsman - it was all just precise cutting and filing.  There was ZERO greenstuff involved in that piece ^_^.  So if you've got the guts to cut up an expensive model ^_- I say go for it!

I painted this bad boy  up for my Salamanders army a few years ago, and entered it into the Warpstone competition in Calgary. I placed silver in the category.
the green armor took me so long, I pretty much rushed the rest of the model.

For me, it's a tossup between these two guys:

Ilya (his mother calls him Little Ilyusha, his enemies call him "Aaaaaaaargh!" :

Dr Fell:

Neither is all that well painted or converted, but both capture my original concepts well enough.

Perhaps my most favourite models are The Hrud overseer (a big, fat, rat with boosted IQ) and The Hrud avatar... Also I kind of like my bloodthirster.

I have a lot of favorites. If I didn't really like what I was making, I would never play with it But here's a few

First is my marine army in general. Like most it was my very first 40K army and a few years back and stripped and repainted them in the same colors, just with better skills. Here is the command squad that was entered in WD's design your own marine chapter contest from a while back. I won 8th place and one of the guys was in WD. I forget the issue but it was the one with the LOTR 2 towers on the cover. I got a little certificate saying the high lords of terra consider them an official chapter too

My alienids too. I've done a lot but I still like the queen hive tyrant the best. The head was my first real sculpting job. I took a lot of pics of a queen alien and tried to make it look as close as possible

I still kind of regret selling my necrons. Here's a conversion I did for a heavy destroyer

And the demon price for the night lords army I never finished. Ended up trading them for a bunch of Tomb Kings

And out of everything, what tops the list just for looks and the fun I had making it was my unit of pirate empire swordsmen

There's even more i'd love to share, but I gotta get back to my baneblade I think he'll be a new favorite soon

WOW some damn fine submissions here! Started off with a BANG definitely! Good to see so much talent on a forum!

Hmm.... I have always been fond of these guys:

I hate you Anung--I was drinking dew while scrolling through this site & noticed the ork with the lego guns. Now my nose hurts... but it's still hilarious. Love it!

Ok, I am about to shame myself with not only a merely decent picture of Cannoness Camomile the Mild, but also my first attempt at posting a pic.
