Ant suggestions for a plastic kit with long coats? Or barring that, capes?

What about young looking human heads without helmets. Most gw figs seem like they are bald or bearded. Bretonian knights possibly?

What about non wooden looking staffs?

I am building a unit of Psychers in training. They should be young, male and female and for lack of a better discription "posh" looking.

I was debating useing the highelf archer plastics, the Flagellant plastics, or the new empire wizard plastics (this option would not be cheap.) is there a better option at all?

I think your on the right track with the highelf archer plastics. Many years back, the GT required everyone to bring 10 civilians. The high elf archer plastics (without the bow) worked well as Eldar civilians. Bras rod will work as a non-wooden staff use a bit of green stuff for knobs/wraps & some sort of plastic bit for a topper.

H.Elf archers should work, yeah. Definately the most posh looking. It's easier than you might think to greenstuff some hair onto bald heads. The brett knights have like 2 fitting heads, of which 1 has a headband. Theres a nice head on the pistoliers sprue, with flowing hair and sideburns. You might get away with using elven heads too, if you do something about the ears.

Sounds like a cool project, good luck with it!

Oh and Bret men at arms command section, probably your best option. Sorry this picture is even worse than usual.
