Get a heavy piece of Games Workshop history.
Just in time for Christmas and Apocalypse comes the Classic whitemetal Warhammer 40K Limited ed Thunderhawk Gunship!

http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=160188098095&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=006

In 1995, promotional Thunderhawk Gunship models were featured during that year's Games Day.
The following year, a Chaos Thunderhawk conversion was featured in White Dwarf.
((May 1996) "Thunderhawk: Warhammer 40,000-scale Gunships for the Ultramarines Chapter". White Dwarf 196: 31-33. Games Workshop.)
The metal Thunderhawks were released 1998 in a limited edition for 400,00 GBP (40,000 Pence...) and are a bit smaller than the Forgeworld resin counterpart.

This is the complete kit! Included is the velvet covered wooden box, with burned in 40K eagle.

The edges of the box are covered in metal 40K eagles, the wooden box comes complete with a key.

The certification of ownership, the transfer sheet, the instruction and assembling manual and - obviously - the model kit itself are included.
Unassembled, unpainted!

Happy bidding!

That's so awesome, I wish I could afford it. I'd never assemble it mind you, because the kit's horrendous to put together(took 4 different people 5-6 months to assemble one for our store because there were so many pins and the pieces barely fit together). But I've always loved the box.

Just remember folks. Panic. Panic all the time. It's the only way to survive, other than just being mindful, of course-but geez, that's so friggin' boring. - Aegis Grimm

Yup, assembling might be a challenge.
But what is life without a challenge?

Well I kind of moved near Toronto, actually.

I can't believe you're selling that thing.

I love the fact they still thought to include two different main weapons with it.

Hate to glue it together w/o pinning and drop it someplace

*CRASH*

I think I would work something out using epoxy for that one, considering it takes so long to get it together and the pieces are so big anyway.

I have to face the truth that I have not started to build this beast in all these years, in addition I have to move in the next couple of months, so some of the lead mountain I am sitting on has to go...

"Epoxy" - Why not? When it is yours you can do what you want with it, or?
