So you are already as good as I am . Maybe you want to change the colour of the power weapon. It is Green with dry brushed with some metallic now I think. A cleaner look on them is always moe impresive. A bright red or ice blue with some highlights would look better.

Wow, that banner is awesome. Your detail work rocks. Can't wait to see the bearer all painted up too.

Purging the unclean In the name Of the Emperor!

the reason i put age is most people i know on forums they think little kids like me cant do anything in warhammer.
but ive bin playing for 6 years now painting is what i love to do. and about the power weapon ive bin thinking about changing it but
i like the green because hes ordo xenos and its seems alien and i see the metalic undertone which i have changed since yesterday.

I agree with Joe on the power weapon color. I'd much rather see you pull the model together with a more dominant color you already have on the model rather than see another introduced to your palette. I would take the red you have used for the robes and bring it up a few stages of highlighting. Might I refer you to our benevolent overlords red tutorial ^_^:

Step 16: Carpace: Scab red highlight

Step 17: Carpace: 50/50% Scab red/Red gore highlight

Step 18: Carpace: 50/50% Red gore/Blood red highlight

Step 19: Carpace: Blood red highlight

Step 20: Carpace: 50/50% Blood red/Blazing orange highlight

Step 21: Carpace: 50/50% Blazing orange/Fiery orange (final carapace) highlight

Step 22 & 23: Carpace: 50/50%  Red gore/Scab red in select touches to break up the orange highlight & black wash in armor cracks to make them stand out

(final carapace from the profile):

I've used it multiple times at varying levels of highlight. It's rather useful ^_^.

That's a D@MN nice looking banner you've done there. Good work.
The FW model isn't too bad, either.

One thing you might want to do with the power sword if you want to keep it green (which is a fine color in my opinion) is put some crackles of energy/lines of power in a light green/yellow color to call attention to the fact it isn't just a green peice of metal, but rather crackling with POWER.

Check out Grey Death's marines in the P&M Blog thread for some really good examples. I usually try for more of an electric sphere look, but I am really fond of how clean his is. It looks very sharp, and immediately makes you think of barely contained power.

Otherwise, the minis look really good. I would have been extremely pleased with myself at that age
