Ok, I FINALLY got some new batteries for my digital camera, and I FINALLY managed to take some respectable pictures of my Drookians (Did I mention? I have six now). I am going to go to bed now, but I will post the pics tomorrow. I really like how they've turned out so far, and I can't wait to make more.

Are you going to model a regimental musician? There's a little known rule that states Bagpipes give negative -2 moral modifiers to Eldar.

I don't envy you the job of doing it to a whole IG army though! Have you thought about pre-casting sections of kilt (3-4 pleats per piece) that you could glue to the model on the front and back - it would reduce the amount of GS work.

Or if you're feeling really confident, make some 'master legs' and cast them up wholesale - there's a P&M thread about someone who did something very similar,

Love the use of the SM arm for your C.O. I did the same thing with a Powerfist. They just work so well for I.G. Bionics. The normal Bionics just look so... scrawny.

I had a momentary giggle at seeing the gas masked trooper wearing a kilt. I don't know entirely why, but for me, gas masks just scream out 'greatcoat', rather than 'whatever I don't want to breathe has a straight shot at my dangly bits'.

That minor gripe aside, I think that they're fantastic. Great sculpting work!
