Too old or too much a gamer for me to get excited about these legs rather than... never mind. As you were.

The manufactorium issues forth much blessed offerings from the machine-god.

There was much rejoicing.

When combined with the ritual of "assembly" it shall please the machine god.
It is enough to know the fine works are there, some may be obscured from the visible eye but the faithful will believe it all good and just and the machine god will know all is right and shall give greater fire into the spirit of the machine.

Yeah, verily we live in incredible times to witness the beginnings of the birth of a god!

What is an airbrushing session, without the mandatory complete strip down and cleaning to solve the mystery issue...
Was hoping to get it metalled up tonight. May have to settle for just primed. :/

" Strike the first rune upon the engine's casing employing the chosen wrench. It's tip should be annointed wit hthe oil of engineering using the proper incantation when the auspices are correct.
Strike the second run upon the engine's casing employing the arc-tip of the power-driver.
If the second runs is not good, a third rune may be struck in like manner to the first. This is done according to the true ritual laid down by Scotti the Enginseer.
A libation should be offered.
If this sequence is properly observed the engines may be brought to full activation by depressing the large panel marked 'ON' "

The God of all Machine's animus is in the ascendant, the portents told in "1011001001010/phi‘£-2.456- verses VII-XXI" have come to pass. The Collegia Titanica's great task ahead of them will syphon a sliver of the Machine God's spirit and bring to life one of its Avatars of Wrath and Retribution.

Titan Assembly will commence immediately and on schedule High Magos Buttery Commissar . There will be no flaws, no errors, no cost over-run, no excuses for not sticking to the holy schedule. Visual proof will be required for updates. Do not deviate from the holy schematics.

Be wary lest the heathen "Squats" involve themselves.
They do not know when their heathen ways are not wanted.

"Tsch lad! Nah angry god here! But a breach in the core furnace will 'av ya meetin yer gods soon enuf! Lucky I hadda goh!"

Too late, the engine is now sullied, only the machine god knows what "modda-if-cations" had been done!

Looking forward to seeing more... at your own pace of course...

Okay so. No more painting this week.
I use a dark black-blue under my silver metals instead of a black. I find it looks more oily and gives a truer steel.
I don't have enough, which I discovered after I started.

Thursday is my last day of employment, and I'm then going home to my parents for a few days. I'll come back with nothing but free time and a raging urge to get this done.

Started building the base. I used some 3mm rods sunk into it to anchor the chimera.

It's with genuine sadness that I have to say there will probably be no more Ollie captions or posts.
I left home for a week and he is missing. I have no idea if he was stolen, kittened, borrowed or just misplaced. I've searched for him around the house, and will try again today.
I'm really down, as he was a custom build.

He can only be somewhere here, but I've looked everywhere. Under furniture, in all my cases, despite knowing it's daft to... I don't use him for gaming because he's pointless with no servitors.
He will turn up, I just don't want to forget and give up. :/

The build on the base is going very well. I need some resin or real rocks, next. Pics when I return from getting enough paint to do both legs.

Well, in a bid to get this at the very least built by the 27th, I've gone at it with a saw and dremel tonight. Here's how much spare resin goes into just the body.

And in other news, Ollie returned.

The amount of excess resin from the gates etc is just nuts. If the pound drops just a little more - I'm warhounding!!

That's alot of excess resin. Shame it has to be binned really, but there's obky so many barricades you can make with them I guess.

So, actual building has occurred. Don't do it the way I did it. You're meant to build the ankle covers and foot and shin then slide the toes on. Because my guy is doing a crazy dynamic step, I did it myyyyy way. And it's really hard.

Both feet are pinned in place with 3mm brass rod because go big or go home.

Ollies back to insult your meat paws again building a blessed titan.

Nice base. Its big when a tank is smaller than a foot....

So there is now one entire leg! A whole leg.

Ollie: Tell them what you did.

No.

Ollie: Chicken.

Alright, I glued the feet and toes down, which means I couldn't put the pistons in without repeatedly removing the leg, placing the pieces back in, then testing it and gluing it. Four times.

Sounds like you've decided to build the reaver on hard mode.

TBH I'm sure it would've been challenging enough without you adding further complications

Flailing on the beach like a beached whale. While also wearing fashionable panties.

Dat's one sexy pair of legs. Keep at it mate!

TheEyeOfNight I swear, this thread is 70% smack talk, 20% RP organization, and 10% butt jokes.
Tactical_Spam Vanden clearly loves making sweet sweet love to his school. He is the most passionate, learning oriented individual you will ever meet.
War Kitten You should ask nicely before hitting people with your stick Vanden. We're a polite society after all.
2BlackJack1 Snow is great though. Snowmen, snowball fights, frostbite, snow forts, what's not to love?
Kharne the Befriender It's just the smug look of eternal irony while you wait for Creed to pull out his Baneblade so you can steal it.
War Kitten I love how this has gone from a deathly serious war to a discussion about how Vanden is secretly a whale wearing panties. Welcome to the Crusade of Fury.
Irishpeacockz Well this crusade will be endless then as I imagine Vandan has a large collection of inflatables lying around

I'm hoping to dry-fit most of the lower body by the end of this session.

It's a strange shape of base, from the first glance. However if it was oval, it'd fall over.
