Various stuff from the last week or two.

to be painted real soon.

first up some more genestealer cultists (count as gaunts)

The guy with the big pack is a human bomb (counts as a spore)
All are pig iron heads on plague monk bodies. The metal guy is a really, really old skaven I've had in my bitz box forever, no idea where he came from. He's so old he says 'ratman' on his tab.

Then their blood brothers

count as a ripper swarm, supposed to be angry workers swarming out of the factory/mine/mill/whatever

A SOLID GOLD space marine kitbash (counts as Grey Knight Justicar)

Some Inquisition storm troopers

Pig Iron heads on Bret men at arms

And finally my reaver

Always loved the model so I picked one up before bitz went away
If I ever use he'll be dread for my SOLID GOLD space marines.

Lots of good stuff in this batch. Think the SOLID GOLD justicar and the ratmen cultists are my favs.

On the titan, you actually gluing / pinning him or is the GS set and going to be holding him together permanently?

A bizarre array of focusing mirrors and lenses turning my phrases into even more accurate clones of

Huh. I guess we both made the decision to slap the pig iron heads on men at arms.

What are you going to do with the fat MAA I gave you?

Whether it was mold decay or always like that, the model just would not hold together. There are pegs and holes for everything to fit but they were far too loose. The GS overspill is annoying but I think paint will cover it up.

Yeah the men at arms are great models, if only GW had made the arms seperate at the shoulders (like, oh, EVERY OTHER MODEL THEY MAKE) instead of the elbows.

Haven't decided what to do with fatty yet. I used one as a torturer in an Inquisition band. Maybe a gun servitor? Sgt with a thunder hammer? No matter, there's always a use for a characterful model.

Nice. The flame effects on the kitbash sword look potentially tricky to paint...Anyway, where are the bitz on the titan's base from? I think I see a tank part or two.

The titan base is just an old IG vehicle accessory sprue. It's what I had handy.

The flaming sword is from the Empire wizard kit (good for all sorts of odd bitz). And while no one would say that my painted flames look like flames, people at least generally agree they look like they're supposed to be flames

Paint won't cover that GS. Just trim it with a knife.

Nice conversions as always kyoto-sama! It occurs to me that your painting method would benefit from a nice ink wash, say 5:1:1 ratio of water, future, and ink. The grimy look of inked models would go well with your conversions, and would help to add definition to the painting.

Well I kind of moved near Toronto, actually.

I am not big on the Eldar head, to be honest but everything else is just pure envy from my end.
