Cool idea, but the ork doesn't look like he is really welded in there. The gap between his torso and the plate he's riding on is a little distracting. I would fill it in with green stuff and run some cabling in to his body in a bunch of places. Make it look like he is really bolted in to the machine.

Nice idea. I like it
Two quick notes...

1) How did you get him to stand sideways like that? Magnets? LOL

2) MOLD LINES!!! AAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This conversion looks pretty cool, but you have GOT to get rid of those mold lines. Mold lines RUIN models.

Well, it it a nice idea. Altough I find it to small for a Deff Dread. The flamer looks nice, but somehow, I can't imgaine that guy to have Dreadnought Attacks. Maybe you could give him a nasty claw in place of the slugga.

Firstly, let me say that it's conversions like this that inspire me to make my orks more unique. It's all good to me, except i think it shoud be more beefy, not sure how. maybe like, extra armor plates or something?

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

I would consider him a cybork warboss, he is too squishy to be a dred.

I dont like the model for two reasons. first because the torso needs to be a lot more platey, though you can fix that.

Second because his dred CCWs are in fact a single choppa powered by meat. This ork needs a waldo with something choppy on it to justify the S10. At a minimum you could get away with a power klaw.

Fix both of these points and your model will be greatly improved.

Personally, I think the squishy torso is part of what makes the model so cool - although maybe because of that the model should be considered a Mega-Armor nob or Cybork warboss rather than a Kan of some kind.

The lines and tubes coming into his torso are very organic - I dig 'em.

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

You could have both. Add a semi circular plate around the torso, add dags/teef around the lower rim but keep the upper rim bare. The plate should come up to just below the shoulders.

The advantage of this is that you see the wired torso detail beneath and the hwead and arms on top, but your ork is nopw armoured. One of the factors of ork armour is that ther plating is all or nothing. Some parts are heavily plated, others are bare flesh.

I still think the left arm should be strapped to a waldo, using the choppas grip as the handle.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.

IDk its your model but I say the claw would look best then you can also mount the flamer to the claw
